As soon as I started walking the lot on a sunny Saturday morning, I was greeted by Diana Artesona with a warm friendly greeting. It was nice to not walk the lot without even a greeting as has happened to me in the past at other dealers. I had an idea of the parameters I wanted to stay within on my potential purchase (year,price,etc.). Diana quickly & patiently guided me towards various cars that met these parameters. It was nice to work with someone so knowledgable on the inventory on hand at the time. I was quickly able to narrow down my selection due to Diana's no-pressure professional approach. Diana went above & beyond to provide an excellent experience. In fact when I arrived to pickup the car, she had even printed out all the service records for the car...I was very impressed by this. I'll definitely be back to Joyce Honda with my future car needs. Keep up the good work Diana !! More
I originally had a 2011 nissan rogue that I was financing already and wasn't sure if I could trade it in for the manufacture I always wanted in life (HONDA). Than I called Joyce, there used certified cars an already and wasn't sure if I could trade it in for the manufacture I always wanted in life (HONDA). Than I called Joyce, there used certified cars and got Diana on the phone. She told me it was possible and to bring in all the paperwork I would need to switch, so I did. I met her and thought wow she is really nice; there were some bumps and curves with my paperwork which consisted of a lot of follow up calls with me, the bank, and everything else which seemed like a million and one things. However, Diana honestly through the whole process was calm, polite, and called me back each time I reached out to her. I begin at one point to give up on the truck, so I called Diana on her off time and she still spoke to me and told me things will be okay. If I were in her shoes I would have been going bananas; but Diana was still calm and collect. Now I own my first Honda which happens to be there outstanding Pilot, which I love. A fantastic experience! We checked several other Honda dealers, and they could not get near our recommended price for a 2008-2009 used Odyssey. There was never any pressure. The staff's level of patience, kindness, and willingness to help us reach our price was better than any other dealer we have been to. Everyone was so accommodating and nice. Our family has been a buyer at Joyce Honda for many years. Everyone is efficient, friendly, and caring. Initially, I went to Joyce Honda just to look around. I did plenty of research online but decided I needed to look in person. I was approached by the sales person Diana and kind of blew her off in the begi did plenty of research online but decided I needed to look in person. I was approached by the sales person Diana and kind of blew her off in the beginning, but she was so polite and down to earth about the whole process that I knew I wanted to deal with her. I found the exact vehicle I was looking for and decided to test drive it. All was well so I decided to see what offer could be made, I was offered a great value for my trade-in, and a deal was worked out that fit my budget perfectly. While all of this was going on, Diana was also working with my girlfriend, to find her a vehicle that fit her needs. We were so pleased with the service we received, that we both decided to purchase vehicles that day, and wanted to make sure we both dealt with Diana. We test drove a few cars as well all while working out my deal. This is a prime example of multitasking at its best. From previous experiences purchasing cars I was blown away by the service we received. I will recommend this dealer to anyone I know interested in Honda, and they will have my business in the future. I purchased my car through the internet department by going to their website and requesting information and pricing. I received a quote right away and called them to make sure the car in the color I want going to their website and requesting information and pricing. I received a quote right away and called them to make sure the car in the color I wanted was in stock. I was pleased to find out it was and made an appointment to go there and check it out. Since I still owed money on my car, I was concerned that it would get complicated but was assured by Peter Jarvis that this was not a problem and that Joyce would pay the balance off when I traded it in. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by Jennifer from the internet department and was shown the car by Mike Geller who handled the rest of the transaction. The pricing had been quoted to me prior to my arrival so the only unknown was how much I would get for my car. Mike took me for a ride in the new one while one of the managers checked out my car. When we got back, we agreed on the pricing with my car factored in and I ordered a few extras which I was pleased they were willing to discount. We filled out some paperwork and I left to do some errands. I returned a couple of hours later, signed the final paperwork and drove my new car home that day. All in all, it was a smooth and pain-free experience which is more than I can say for most of the other car dealerships I have dealt with in the past. I would recommend Joyce to anyone who is looking for a Honda because they really try to make it as pleasant and hassle free as possible. I have not used their service department yet so I can't speak to how that works but I will write a review on that when the time comes. More
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE. Woke up early in the morning to get my first car. Waited 20 minutes to be helped(ok fine). Than the GM finally came up to me and asked if we needed any help and gave us his whole speech about being the greatest used car dealership(ok fine). He eventually passes us off to a salesman named Rich, and I proceed to look at the Honda Accord I was interested in. First thing we address is the price. He tells us he has no control over the price and the sticker price is what it is, and he can not basically "haggle". Right after he says this, he tells me to "throw him a number"(right after he says that he can't haggle!). Like any person with a common sense, I tried to get the lowest price possible. So, I asked for about 2500 dollars off the sticker price. He walks off in disgust and tells me to **** off and have a nice day. As I stand offended and shocked that he cursed at me in the first 15 minutes I met him, I asked for the GM and as I am walking away he tries to Jedi mind trick me into believing that I did not hear what I heard. But of course once I went into the main office the GM is no where to be found. Meanwhile, Rich crawls back into his hole. After demanding to see the GM for a few seconds a different sales men approaches and offers his assistance. I explain the situation and he calms me down and asks if he can help me with purchasing the car. Needless to say, damage was done and I left the dealership. The thought of purchasing the car was discomforting, agitating, and exhausting I could only imagine how it would be if I purchased the car and there was a problem with the car and I had to go back. Long story short, I moved onto a another dealership and I am happy to say I am a proud owner of a 2008 Honda Accord(Thank you Garden State Honda). I mean if you want to overpay and just pay the sticker price for a car and than get disrespected and cursed at in the process..Joyce Honda is for you!
