Arkeem was a delight to work with. He listened to what I wanted and went the extra mile to make sure I got a car that I am very happy with. He was patient and informative in showing me all the ins and outs wanted and went the extra mile to make sure I got a car that I am very happy with. He was patient and informative in showing me all the ins and outs of the electronics on the car and made it very clear that I could come in any time I had a question or needed help with anything. He called me and set up the appointment to get the pin stripping on the car and had the service department check the tire pressure light and make the necessary adjustment. Working with Ahmed over the internet was great and then showing up working with Arkeem was a great experience! I would recommend either of them in a heartbeat....while Bill Curdie was nice, I didn't apprec showing up working with Arkeem was a great experience! I would recommend either of them in a heartbeat....while Bill Curdie was nice, I didn't appreciate the non-stop pushing of the extended warranty after I told him where I wanted payment! I would like to know how I can cancel that now? While Bill kept saying it's only $25/month, I told him I was at where I wanted, but he kept pushing and I was tired of being there at 3.5 hours so I said sure....I understand the game, but when someone says NO, that should be it, not another 30 minutes of scare tactics! I have a niece living with me in the market for a used Honda, but haven't decided if I'll bring there or not....she's 22 and I'm not sure I want her to experience saying NO 20 times! But Arkeem and Ahmed deserve a thumbs up! More
I was very happy that Joyce Koons Honda kept their word on holding my new Honda Odyssey on the lot for me until I could get up to NOVA to get it. We had intended to purchase in our hometown & had indicated on holding my new Honda Odyssey on the lot for me until I could get up to NOVA to get it. We had intended to purchase in our hometown & had indicated that we would be in to get the car on a specified date & it was sold out from under us. When I found this one on-line the same day that we were supposed to pick up the other one, we had a price & a promise to hold it until the weekend. We came & looked at it on Friday & bought it Saturday morning. The only issue I have is a need for more education for people who buy a car with so much technology. (Many thanks to Reggie who was my saving grace on this issue.) I was having a lot of anxiety about my purchase because of my lack of technological expertise & fearing I had made a mistake until Reggie gave me a one hour lesson. Otherwise all the people that I worked with were gracious & friendly. Thanks for honoring your word. More

Arkeem was easy and really nice to work with, he made the experience smooth overall. Everything did take a long time though, like things dragged on far longer than necessary. Different people during the final stages kept showing up to offer us this that and the other added option. Details were changed, such as the bank chosen for financing, after we left, which I did not really like. We also got upsold on something that after thinking about it, I wish we'd known more about in which case we wouldn't have added the extra, unnecessary warranty. Price was ok, I didnt walk away feeling like we got an amazing deal, but it was an ok deal. Would we reccomend, maybe. More
I will never take any of my cars back to Koons for service EVER again. Nor will I buy any cars from them, (after buying two so far). Their service department (GMC) is dishonest. I was having problems with my 07 Nissan Murano, it had to be towed there for service. After they checked it out, I was told that the alternator and ground cable were bad. I was quoted approximately $1200 to replace the alternator and the cable. I wanted a second opinion so I had a different repair shop come tow the car to their shop. A few hours later I was informed that there was NOTHING wrong with the alternator or cable. They found that the alternator belt had broken off and needed replacement. That was the ONLY thing wrong with the car! Yup, I was about to being ripped off by Koons! $1200 for an alternator belt, WAY TO GO KOONS. Thank God there are still honest mechanics around, people who will not rip you off like Koons in Manassas tried to do to me. If you need service, take your car elsewhere, unless you want to be ripped off! More
