Came in for loud road noise on my GTI. Received a loaner which was hugely helpful. Dave P. took down all of my info, and was very respectful of my time. Kept me updated on progress. Horrible experience in the service department. No interest in customer care. Didn't make repairs requested. Eager to suggest other repairs not covered by warranty. i brought my tiguan in for the 2week inspection...at that time i had the coupon for the $25 gift card, when i brought it over to the reception, brendon kelly was standing there. i asked the receptionist if time i had the coupon for the $25 gift card, when i brought it over to the reception, brendon kelly was standing there. i asked the receptionist if i could get my coupon validated and brandon jump in and said a very firm NO, that i had to bring it at the time of the test drive, and if they honored it that day 2weeks later, then anybody could come in and ask for the gift card...i just looked at him as said, i guess....i wonder how many people bring in a brand new VW that they just had purchased 2 weeks prior asking to get a coupon validated for the gift card????? Very surprised by this and put off...every other employee i had dealt with was exceptional...i have to say the service man that checked my car was Outstanding!!!! More
Took 3.25 hours for a basic 20k service. Appointment was for 8 AM and told 1.5-2 hours(which still seemed a lot of time) Asked for no tire rotation or car wash which should have sped things up. They did need to do road test(1.2 miles according to odo) and flash DSG. Also looked at sticking doors and "lubed door seals". Wasted half my day and will try to avoid in future for any service needs.... I could have driven to Wellesley VW(bought the car there and great service dept), had service and likely been home in the same time. People seemed freindly, but no sense of urgency to get the car done and back to me in a timely manner, or update me on the progress. Disappointed.... Jeff More

He is highly knowledgeable in his field. He is able to provide the ultimate customer service. He not only greets you with a smile, he then poceeds to engage in conversation. It is quite evident that John always puts the customer first. John's years of experience is reflected by his ability to sit with the customer and clearly explain in detail any repairs that may be necessary to insure the safety of the vehicle. John's pleasant demeanor is certainly welcomed. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. John Rappold is without a doubt a valuable asset to your establishment. The Service Technicians are also well trained, especially one named Brendan. He appears to be an expert in his trade. He explained to me the repairs my vehicle needed and did so visually which made it very easy to understand. The car wash and the interior detailing was also an unexpected surprise! Background: My son (attending med school at Drexel in PA) had managed to blow the tranny on his vehicle. Living in NH, I purchased a 2000 Jetta, and was to deliver it to him PA. What I did not know until pic had managed to blow the tranny on his vehicle. Living in NH, I purchased a 2000 Jetta, and was to deliver it to him PA. What I did not know until picking up the vehicle, was it came with only one key - and no remote. Kelly VW was stepped up its game by not only overnighting the factory keys, but fitting me into an already tight service department schedule. Outstanding... I was quoted a five to six day lead time by the other area VW dealership. Erica Gorey (service consultant) was instrumental in providing this service excellence. The only down fall- Cost of one key and a remote: $176.00. Cost of programming: An additional $103... Was it worth the cost to insure my boy was safe in the heart of Philadelphia? - Absolutely. More
