My grandfather, who suffers from dementia & has recently had his driving privileges restricted by his doctor at the Cleveland Clinic, had an elderly friend drive him to the Parma Ford dealership. Unfortunat had his driving privileges restricted by his doctor at the Cleveland Clinic, had an elderly friend drive him to the Parma Ford dealership. Unfortunately, my grandfather came across John Albany, who proceeded to take advantage of a senile, demented old man and his elderly friend, talking him into a $400 a month lease. He also failed to mention the $100 surcharge the dealership charges for using a credit card for the down payment. Parma Ford dealership is also now refusing to accept the vehicle back from my family, within 24 hours of the signed lease, even after being shown documentation of my grandfather’s cognitive impairment. If you at all have any interest in protecting the vulnerable, elderly community from predatory salesman and scam artists, I would suggest avoiding John Albany and the Parma Ford dealership at all costs. My service needs were not met at all. I advised them that the left rear cross traffic alarm is not working and that this was the third time it was in for the same problem. I was told it checks ok so there is nothing more to do. Horrible customer service. They also were supposed to re coat my car with the original ceramic coating I bought when I ordered the car. They told me it was fine but they never washed my car because the same bird droppings that were in my door post were still there when I picked it up. How do you ceramic coating a car and not wash it? Again horrible customer service and a terrible way to treat a more than 40 year Ford customer and military veteran. More
