However, we found a salesman inside the showroom (Johnny) and fairly quickly realized we had a good rapport, some common interests. We inquired about a new Outback and possibly a lease (fact finding at present) We relayed we could possibly trade our 2014 Jaguar XF in which we owed $7,811. Also, had relayed the "check engine" light had come on and we were told by a garage that it's likely a vacuum leak. Johnny came back with a pretty steep payment on an Outback and a trade-in value of $4,200 on the Jag which was extremely low as KBB was over $9,000. We realize that the salesman is not neecessarily the individual crunching the numbers. The sales mgr (John) Petrovich) came over and when I told him he was low balling us, he agreed he was. We literally were made to feel that our car was a piece of crap. John went to check something, came back and said he has a new 2024 Outback Limited XT with no money down, leases out at $401/mo. Wife & I test drove, came back and said we would take it. Salesman Johnny asked me to get a 15 day payoff and the sales mgr acted as if we didn't know we had a payoff. Johnny reminded him that he told him but the sales mgr said it came across as $781,000 so he just deleted it and he did not consider a trade or what we owed in his numbers. Why didn't he inquire about it? Weird. Conceivably and likely legally, we could have had that car for the $401 monthly. Thursday 8/22 I spoke with John the sales manager who apologized, saying nothing he could do and he said they’re human and make mistakes. I do agree. I emailed the GM on Friday 8/23 advising of these issues and told him if I post a negative review, that he would likely reach out to me as a response saying "what can we do to make this right?", so I said to him- "let's just make it right now". Jimmy Lokar phoned not too long after, so wae spoke and he told me he would provide several offers on cars and he apologized. Lo and behold, he sent me three offers Friday afternoon which were not really good offers and that 2024 Outback Limited XT was one of the offers he provided. It had 12,000 miles on it- WHICH WE DID NOT KNOW! This was not relayed to us. Long story short- we got $8,400 for our car elsewhere, and no one made us feel like our Jag was garbage!. You don’t talk bad about the competition. If you want to xx, do it positively. I had emailed the GM again (Jimmy) on Sunday 8/25 advising of such, and also that the KR Subaru website says if you test drive a new Outback, they will give you a $50 visa gift card (found this out after the fact) I told Jimmy that no one mentioned this to us, but to mail it to my home. No one, no one really ever went above and beyond to totally right the ship here. Maybe we caught everyone on a bad day, not sure. I still would recommend the dealership, but these things cannot happen to people. Update as of 8/27/24- no additional response from KR More

Very pleased with my experience at Kenny Ross. My vehicle was at #1 Cochran multiple times and I was told nothing was wrong with it. Kenny Ross immediately listened to my concerns. My service visit was smooth and quick. Was able to have a delicious cup of coffee (or 2!!) while I waited. Need to switch out the two chairs by the service desk door with 2 others...
