We understand that sometimes things do happen and we were more accommodating to resolve your concerns. Strictly out of goodwill we put you into a loaner vehicle while we attempt to resolve your concerns. The mirror was resolved but our real issue was the tear in the back seat. The tear was created after the vehicle was purchased. We took pictures to get Mazda involved and due to the claw marks that look like an animal of some sort was back there it wasn't going to be covered. So we do our research and we discovered that when you picked up your vehicle, you had your dog with you. We were going to try to resolve your concern but when we called you to tell you to stay in the loaner a few more days so we can take care of it for you, you refused to and became verbally abusive to myself and staff and we had to have the police escort you off the lot. We were doing everything we could in order to help you out but unfortunately it wasn't to your satisfaction. Customer Service is our number 1 priority and we believe that everyone should treat each other with respect. On my business cards, I even have my cell phone number so any customer of Kia Mazda of Old Saybrook can contact me anytime so I can listen to the great positive comments and even the negative ones so I can know what to fix so we our continued growth. When you experienced your issues before you picked it up, we took care of the remote start at no cost to you because we are human and make mistakes from time to time. No one is perfect and to truly have 100% satisfaction, sometimes mistakes happen and we learn from them. We tried to resolve this matter but you were very uncooperative. I apologize about your issues. We have factory trained master technicians looking over these vehicles as they come in. You have been here for a couple complaints and we went above and beyond to rectify each issue completely out of goodwill. You were offered an extended warranty when you purchased the vehicle and declined that. The vehicle comes with 30 days that is safety related items only. As for your tires the measurements of tread depth was 7/32 and 6/32 which is over 50% life left. We do not change tires if there is over 50% left. We make sure every vehicle on our lot is safe and mechanically sound. If there is something I could do to help you out with the cost of the tires, I would be happy too.
