Upon arriving to the Kia service facility, I was greeted by an enthusiastic service advisor named Mamie. She got my car in for the oil change quickly and efficiently. The Kia facility had a very comfortable and clean waiting area. I did not have an appointment, but the service itself did not take long at all. My reasons for giving a four star review instead of a five star review has to do with the servicing technician. He failed to fill out some paperwork that I felt was very important information. When I went through the cashiers booth, I was just giving a receipt for the oil change itself and the tire rotation. I was not given the Multi point Inspection Report Card as recommended by the manufacturer. I had to ask them for this. And when the cashier gave it to me, it was empty. It was blank. It did not have one mark on it. It did not have my name, my car model or make or the date. It was completely blank. I had to bring this to their attention. I’m not sure of the gentleman‘s name who has the office right next to the Service area in the main Ford building, but he told me the technician forgot to fill it out and that he was sorry. They returned the form to the technician and he filled it out, but not completely. The only thing on the form when I got it back where the boxes checked the green yellow and red boxes and his technician number on it which is 55551. It still did not have my car the date my name. This was the first service on a brand new 2025 Kia K4. To me this form is very important for future reference, and the fact that it was left out is the reason I gave a four stars. All the employees that I dealt with were very friendly, but to be quite honest, the feeling I had when I left was that I was rushed, and that my concerns were not very valid. They did spray off the outside of my car as a courtesy. I don’t have many options as far as Kia dealerships where I live so I will be going back there to have my next oil change and I just hope it’s better next time. More

After compl VEHICLES MIGHT NOT HAVE A TITLE!🚩 I had an awful experience purchasing a 2022 Kia K5 GT-Line from King Kia of Laurel in October 2023. After completing all paperwork and taking delivery within a week, I expected the process to be straightforward. However, over a month later, I still hadn’t received my title. In December, I received a written notice from the MVA stating that the dealership failed to submit the correct, most recent title — they had submitted an outdated one instead. When I tried contacting my salesperson (Brandon Martinez), I discovered he no longer worked there. I then reached out to Derrick Showacre multiple times via email — no response. I even visited the dealership several times asking to speak with the title department, but could never reach anyone directly. When I finally met Steve York, the title representative, in March 2025, he showed no concern or accountability, telling me simply to “wait” because he outsourced most title work. Months passed with no updates. When I followed up again, he became visibly irritated, cut me off mid-conversation, and walked away telling me to “have a good day”. That’s how they treat a paying customer who’s been waiting months due to their error. It is ridiculous how someone at the dealership can just throw tamtrum at customers who had to experience various inconveciences because the dealership clearly violated written contracts which have legal effects. To this date, the issue is still unresolved and I STILL do not have my title. 🚩🚩🚩Customers who have legitimate requests are not treated with sincerity and basic respect at King Kia of Laurel. King Kia of Laurel has appalling customer service and zero accountability. They completely disappear once they’ve taken your money, leaving you to deal with the fallout. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! More
On June 30, 2025, I purchased a vehicle from King Kia of Laurel and traded in my previous car, which was financed through Kensington Finance. As part of the agreement, King Kia was responsible for paying of Laurel and traded in my previous car, which was financed through Kensington Finance. As part of the agreement, King Kia was responsible for paying off the remaining balance on my trade-in. Nearly a month later, this payoff still hasn’t been completed, and I’ve received notice that a payment is due on a vehicle I no longer own. When I contacted the dealership to ask why the payoff hadn’t been made, I was met with extreme unprofessionalism — a sales manager named Johnny Kinney told me, “F*** you, figure it out yourself.” This response is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a severe lack of customer care and accountability. In addition to this, the overall experience was dishonest from the start. I was promised a rebate the day before the sale, which was suddenly revoked with no explanation, raising my total cost above the $31,000 out-the-door price we originally agreed on. In the finance office, I was told I had to purchase GAP insurance through the dealer because my own insurance wouldn’t cover a total loss unless I did — which turned out to be false. I also requested to see the bank’s buy rate on my financing offer, but they refused to show it to me, claiming there’s a “flat rate” enforced by the FTC — something I know is inaccurate as I also work in the automotive industry. This appears to have been a tactic to hide markups and mislead me further. This dealership has shown a pattern of poor communication, misinformation, unethical financing practices, and a complete lack of follow-through regarding my trade-in payoff. More
This is a highly unethical dealership. Do NOT buy a car from them. They sold me a used car and then informed me a day before picking it up that it was no longer for sale. I recently purchased a 2025 Kia Sportage Prestige, and I couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional service I received from Donny. This is the third car I've purchased from this location, and I was intially unsure if the experience would match the high standards set by my former salesman who is no longer there. Donny reassured me that I was in good hands, but he was wrong-I was in great hands. I had considered other brands and wasn't certain I would stay with Kia, but Donny's patience, professionalism, and thorough answers to my (many) questions made all the difference. He was truly phenomenal, and the overall sales experience was marvelous thanks to him. Donny's outstanding service is what ultimately sealed the deal. Highly recommend asking for him if you're in the market for a vehicle! I am writing to follow up on my previous message regarding my concerns with the Finance Department. I am pleased to share that since then, the team at King Kia of Laurel has gone above and beyond to address my concerns and turn my experience into a positive one. I would especially like to recognize Larry, Carlos Mendez, and Matt Aglio for their extraordinary efforts. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Thanks to their support, I now feel confident and valued as a customer.
