Tom Papish I had a complaint and thinking my concern wouldn't be acknowledged, Tom the service manager called to discuss my concerns. To my shock he express tha I had a complaint and thinking my concern wouldn't be acknowledged, Tom the service manager called to discuss my concerns. To my shock he express that the service writer did in fact accidentally misquote the wrong price for the job. I was surprised, I thought he was going to be supportive of his employee and side with him. He didn't. There alone showed me management cares and has expectations of their staff and will address any concerns a customer may have. We have discussed and settled the issues and I have confidence that the service department will do a good job and will try their hardest to resolve the issue. Always had wonderful prompt service with the exception of this most recent appointment. Had a scheduled appointment for 7:45 a.m. since I had an event to be to that afternoon. Left to run a few errands. Generally my service is completed in and hour to 2 hours max. Knowing this I scheduled the early appointment. 4 hours later with no phone call to come pick up and numerous calls made direct to my service tech with no pick up. I made my way back to the dealership only to wait again to see if my auto service was even begun. Long story short. Car service was complete but no time for the complimentary wash. Corey is a Deceiver and a liar. I came to Klaben to get a Chrysler recall repaired , and to also check the check engine light that was on . I was informed by your service writer C I came to Klaben to get a Chrysler recall repaired , and to also check the check engine light that was on . I was informed by your service writer Corey that the reason my check engine light was on was because of my left front catalytic converter had failed and needed replace . Corey begin to explain to me the details of the repair in how much it would cost . I am fully aware of the pricing and I had already priced out a Mopar part. Corey gave me an outlandish dollar amount of over $1400 to repair just one catalytic converter . He explained there was labor to remove the O2 sensors and he didn't even refer to my history and see my O2 sensors have been replaced by Klaben less than a year ago and should be under warranty . That was the first overcharge secondly I contacted another Chrysler dealership which gave me a price of $700 for the left front catalytic converter . But on the day of question since my vehicle was there getting a recall repaired I was going to have whatever the problem was with the check engine light repaired . I didn't know that Corey would give me a price that was not accurate overcharging in labor it's seem to me that because I was getting a no charge service done they wanted to make back the money some type of way and wanted to overcharge me by more than half of what the job called for. To top all of that off I have some jewelry earrings in question exactly 6 pair of earrings and a ring in my car next to the cigarette lighter in an enclosed part of the car and when I got back home my earrings were stolen . Mind you they are costume jewelry and I hope the mechanic didn't quit his job thinking that the simulated looking diamond type jewelry was real he was grossly mistaken. I will never ever come back to that service department as long as the own the car. I will continue to buy a Chrysler products from Don who works in sales but I will never use the service department ever again . As far as I am concerned Corey is a poor example of a service writer, dishonest, and flat out liar he is a poor representation for Klaben Chrysler service department . When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was fully aware of the pricing and the labor charges the part price everything that it would take to repair my car and to give me a price nearly $700 more is ridiculous. when I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was fully aware of the pricing and the labor charges the part price everything that it would take to repair my car and to give me a price over $1400 is the reason why customers don't trust dealerships and feel like women will be taken advantage of because the male service writers think that women don't know . I on the other hand am a woman who knows my stuff. My opinion of the service department is one that I will not recommend anyone to go to for a repair . You have lost my business and frankly you probably don't even care because I've done recall work there and you feel you haven't made a profit. I will be taking my vehicle to a Chrysler dealership in my city, whom when I called gave me an accurate price for the repair I need to turn off my check engine light right off the bat they seem honest And won't try to rip a woman off. 1 hour and 20 minutes just to change oil?? The staff is wonderful but I am amazed why it took 1 hour and 20 min to change oil on a brand new vehicle.
