New Car, New Dealer Too We showed up at Klaben Ford after many hours of research and very high hopes for a Ford certified pre-owned '14 Escape that was at their lot. We had We showed up at Klaben Ford after many hours of research and very high hopes for a Ford certified pre-owned '14 Escape that was at their lot. We had previously corresponded with a salesman, Doug Carter, about the vehicle and were looking forward to seeing it in person. As soon as we got out of our car at the lot we were immediately set upon by none other than, Doug Carter, himself. We didn't get a single word out before we heard, "Would you like to take it for a ride?". We were on the road within the next five minutes, and enjoying it more than we ever thought possible. We returned back a couple of days later with some real limitations with our budget to make our new-wish Escape a real possibility. Doug helped us overcome those hurdles and came back to us with a car payment that made it into our ballpark. He was nothing but accommodating the entire time we were hashing out the details, and never once did it feel like we being pushed into a decision or bullied out of the showroom. The whole purchase was just, pleasant. Even after we purchased the car, Doug was more than happy to answer questions we had about the car. Working with him was a well-rounded excellent experience.
