In the past I've had better interactions, but this will be my last. I scheduled a service to have the oil changed and tires rotated. When I arrived I told the customer service person who checked me in this be my last. I scheduled a service to have the oil changed and tires rotated. When I arrived I told the customer service person who checked me in this information. He recommended the mileage maintenance that they offer and I said fine. He never mentioned the oil wouldn't be changed if we did this. So when I left and realized how little I paid I called on my lunch break to find out if the oil was in fact changed because it didn't say anywhere on they paperwork they gave me. I talked to a guy from Minnesota who assured me at least 10 times that I would get a call back. No one called me. I called again the next day and got someone local who connected me with the service department. They said it wasn't recommended for my oil to be changed with the mileage maintenance service. My conclusion was I basically wasted an hour driving to this dealership one way, an hour sitting in the waiting room and then money for them to check the car's fluids, battery and hopefully rotate my tires. So over the weekend I went to Jiffy Lube in my hometown. They said my oil was really low and also mentioned that my battery needed to be replaced soon and showed several signs of corrosion. They also noticed my battery was still under warranty and did not pressure me to buy their product. Four days earlier Toyota said the battery would need to be looked at, but they'd check it out next time I came in for the mileage service. More

My salesperson was decent but what the dealership was willing to offer for my trade was a joke. Car was in excellent shape and I know I could have gotten about $2k more and the dealership would have stil willing to offer for my trade was a joke. Car was in excellent shape and I know I could have gotten about $2k more and the dealership would have still profited on it considering what they listed and sold it for. Pretty disappointed. I should have just bought the car I traveled for and sold mine to a local dealership back where I live. Lesson learned. More
