Good Selection, Poor Service While I am pleasured with the vehicle that I purchased at Landers, I can safely say I will not shop there in the future, nor can I recommend anyone to While I am pleasured with the vehicle that I purchased at Landers, I can safely say I will not shop there in the future, nor can I recommend anyone to this dealership. The salesman that completed my sale was very pushy and did not treat me as a valued customer. I test drove the vehicle for less than 24 hours and during that time he would send me text messages that would say "I have other salesman breathing down my neck for that Jeep". While I chose to ignore his pushy behavior, I did not appreciate someone trying to pressure me to make a large purchase. When I arrived back from my test drive, I made Juan Carlos aware of two chips in the windshield, one of which was in the line sight on the driver's side. He assured me he would take care of it. I took him at his word and proceeded with the sale. When I completed the sale and left the lot he told me that he would be schedule a time to have the repair take place. A windshield repairman did come by and look at the chips, he informed me that they could not be repaired because one was in the line sight. In text message he informed me that he had bad news and it was "that's someone's idea of a repair" and he recommended that the windshield be replaced. I informed Juan Carlos via text what the repair man said. Juan Carlos then went on to tell me that he could not replace the windshield, per his manager. I informed Juan Carlos that this was not good business and I would like to speak to his manager. He complied and said the manager would "call soon". As of time of this review, it has been 4 days and I still have not heard from a manger. When I informed Juan Carlos yesterday that I still have not received he call, he informed me that the manager was aware and would be in touch. I feel like a fool for choosing Steve Landers. I feel that Juan Carlos knew the windshield was not repairable, but proceeded to tell me whatever I wanted to hear in order to complete a sale. If Juan Carlos and his manager never intended to replace the windshield, I wish they would have been upfront and honest so I could have took my business elsewhere. This is a bad way to conduct business and if I was able to return the vehicle I would do it in a heartbeat. I do not appreciate being treated in such a manner. While this review may be all for not, it is my hope that this type of dishonest behavior doesn't happen to other customers. I will certainly do my portion to help get the word out. More
