Mr. Owens - We are sorry to see that this situation has deteriorated to this point, however, we respectfully disagree with your version of events. After returning from test driving a 2020 Sonata, your salesperson presented you with numbers to trade your vehicle for the new 2020 model. You objected to the numbers stating that the payment needed to be $100 per month lower. Subsequently, our Sales Manager Sonny came out to assist. Upon sitting down, Sonny (a former Marine) thanked you for your Navy service and attempted to explain the numbers that were being offered. We presented you with a very aggressive sale price and more than KBB value for your trade. You were not happy with the payment being $100 higher than you desired. Sonny asked you if you had the ability to put more money down to help lower the payment and you responded by saying "F*** you give me my keys". At that point, Sonny handed you back your credentials and went to retrieve your keys. From there, things deteriorated with your continued, loud use of expletives and vulgarity. Your keys were promptly returned to you and you stormed out of the facility, all while making claims that we sold you and unsafe car and ripped you off. Again, we would respectfully disagree. We understand that you are upset with your current vehicle and your situation. We attempted to be of assistance, but to no avail. If you feel you have a defective product or a product liability issue, we would advise you to inquire with Hyundai Motor America. Regardless, we understand if you decide to take your business elsewhere. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
