If you’re dealing directly with GM Gary you will get a honest and great experience. We’ve bought 3 cars here now, and the third experience has completely changed our view of Lief Johnson. I had preapproval and they had it as 466 miles on the website, wouldn’t take any money off for the 2871 miles actually on it at time of sale. And the front license plate was not installed and now I’m being told to bring it in an hour and a half away after my sales person promised me it would be something he could bring to our house and do even after I advised him I live an hour and a half away. The vehicle was not serviced prior to our purchase, the back was dirty even after “detailing” I told them 24 hours in advance of my preapproval and I wanted the paperwork done digitally and to sign in person for the 4 papers. I got there waited from 407p to 545p to do paperwork. After I signed, the sales person wants to inform me outside as he puts the plate in the window that they didn’t have time. What do you mean you didn’t have time, I discussed this transaction from 3p the day before and told you I’d be there to sign and go to work, you had a full business day. Now I have no front plate holder even though it’s on my included sales purchase and like an idiot I signed nothing was owed to me but yet I didn’t expect a license plate holder to not be on the front of the car. I am so lucky to have Leif Johnson Ford right down the road. I overheated on the side of the highway the other week, and the service team told me to have my car towed to the dealership to ensure the issue road. I overheated on the side of the highway the other week, and the service team told me to have my car towed to the dealership to ensure the issue wasn’t related to the recall fix I’d just had my car in for. The team looked at my car first thing in the morning and were able to confirm that the recall repair was still holding strong, and that somehow my radiator had been punctured! JD was so thorough in his explanation and made sure I understood the issue very clearly. While this situation was initially a nightmare for me, JD and the team eased my worries and made sure I felt taken care of and supported. I now have my car back and have zero worries. Hopefully I don’t have to see them again for a while (ha!) but if something does come up, I know I’ll be in good hands! More
