We brought our car in for its first service and the service advisor we were scheduled with was changed to Rodney. He didn't explain what the service was and misrepresented what they would actually be service advisor we were scheduled with was changed to Rodney. He didn't explain what the service was and misrepresented what they would actually be doing on this visit. And for the record, the 5000 mile service, while it may be free, it is a waste of time. We were given a loaner, but it smelled like smoke and old food and only had 1/8th of a tank of gas, but i ended up spending just under an hour waiting on the service advisor and to get the loaner when i had a scheduled appointment. Later that day, I got an alert from the appt around 4 pm that the car was finally unlocked, so I knew it hadn't been touched. When I called Rodney to check on the car, he had no idea what was going on and couldn't give me an update. When I expressed my concern with the timing he told me that they had given me a loaner and I could keep it until they finished the service if that meant it had to be until the next day. I asked him what the 5000 mile service was they were supposed to be doing and he told me "that's in your owners manual", unacceptable response. He then became flippant with me again about the loaner and the timing and when he finally realized I was upset, his said you obviously need to speak to a manager and then hung up on me. I ended up calling back to speak with one of the managers, I couldn't tell you his name because he was hard to understand. Needless to say I finally got my car back at 6:30 that night, the tire pressure caps were missing and I have no idea if they actually performed the service. The customer care and respect have really declined since we owned our previous Lexus. More
