Parts were to be replaced ... supposed to be in inventory, but weren’t - ordered & supposed to arrive and didn’t - ordered again, wrong part number & didn’t arrive - tire rotated incorrectly and caused “rubbing”. Each of these poorly communicated internally and caused be a trip to dealership 25+ miles away. Almost 3 weeks of back-and-forth. Very time consuming and frustrating. Again, folks at dealership very kind and nice, but LOTS of internal communication issues that caused serious delays and many, many unnecessary trips. More
Failing alternator When a service light came on I contacted Doug and he got me in for service right away. On the drive to the service center my car died (within a quarte When a service light came on I contacted Doug and he got me in for service right away. On the drive to the service center my car died (within a quarter mile), I contacted Doug and he helped me get the car into the dealership right away. While identifying it was the Alternator, service also found my battery was leaking. Doug checked and confirmed my battery was under Warranty and had it replaced. As always Doug was a pleasure to work with and made the experience smooth. More

One Time Bad Service will not buy Lexus I am still a bit shocked over the recommended service Lexus Service wanted me to do. I have been using Lexus service for my GX470 for over 100K miles I am still a bit shocked over the recommended service Lexus Service wanted me to do. I have been using Lexus service for my GX470 for over 100K miles with all major and minor recommended services. On this visit I was told that all of my fluids needed to be replaced and there wasn't a record of them ever being replaced. The cost was over $800 to complete the three fluid changes. This leads me to ask several questions: 1. Was my past service done and not documented? 2. I have a hard time believing Lexus best practices in not to replace transmission and power steering sometime in the first 100K. They have you change the water pump with the timing belt. 3. Why was this never done or discussed with me? 4. Was something else going on with the new service agent? Over six years I have never seen this one, must be a new hire. As I start thinking about buying a new car in the next three months and which manufactures I will be looking art; Lexus has been removed from my list. I am sadden by this because before this my SUV and service has been great. But this experience has soured me and called into question Lexus reputation. It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation and one bad service to kill it. More

This most recent experience included a hand-off to a new sales representative who took the place of my long time sales representative who retired. This hand off and the various hand offs between the Lexus team members were flawless. The new sales representative knew my history and was ready to meet me with options based on my earlier conversations with him and a review of my earlier transactions with the dealership. Hand offs to the Finance and Technology leaders were smooth, met my needs and again, very customer focused respecting my requests for support and time. More

60,000 check and small maintenance. Good and prompt service and a loaner car. Always ready with an update. Price was a bit high but realize a lot was done.
