Honestly, they made it really easy. Even though I live in Bergen County, a friend told me to go to Bill Kolb Subaru in Rockland County because they have "no haggle" pricing. I test drove a car there, got their no haggle price for a lease but then thought I should look around a little and not visit just one dealer. I went to Ramsey Subaru on Route 17 and it was a typical car sales atmosphere. Didn't like it. Then I went to Liberty in Emerson, met Jeff Wangerin, gave him the quote I was given in Rockland County and he beat it by around $25 per month. That was good enough for me and we made a deal right there. Considering my last car purchase five years ago at a completely different dealer was a disaster, I thought the no-haggle dealer was the way to go. Turns out it wasn't. A brief conversation with Jeff W. at Liberty got me a better deal. There was no hard sell. No dopey lines like, "What can I do to put you in a car today?" He took the quote from the other place and about three minutes later came back with the better offer. I suppose I could have tried to get him down even more but I respected him and it wasn't worth the effort to try to save another $5 or so. I rated everything five stars except for friendliness. Jeff Wangerin was very friendly and accommodating but one guy in Service seemed a little distracted, didn't make good eye contact and was just the slightest bit gruff. So, I took one star off for the friendliness category. I didn't expect him to do cartwheels when I walked in, but I was expecting a little more considering I was a new customer. Also, Tom in Finance was really helpful dealing with the lender for the lease. Thanks Tom! As long as this lease goes smoothly and Liberty doesn't bombard me with junk mail, I'll definitely be back the next time around. More

one of the best dealership expriences After being kicked off of All-American Ford's lot (Hackensack, NJ) for looking without a sales person at 12:00 in the afternoon, I decided to stop by After being kicked off of All-American Ford's lot (Hackensack, NJ) for looking without a sales person at 12:00 in the afternoon, I decided to stop by Liberty Subaru (Emerson, NJ), after work. it was late 7:45PM almost closing time but I walked around and looked at their inventory. I noticed they had cars in the back of their building so I went in and asked if I could look at cars, the salesman there said of course you don't need to ask! So 5min to closing they let me look around not even rushing me! The next day I went back was not harassed or bothered, I asked for a salesman and was quickly helped by a nice salesman. He listened to what car I wanted and amount I wanted to spend, he got just that, NOT what he wanted me to buy or spend (like other places)... The whole finance process went very smooth and fast! NO add-ons , No extra keys for life , no bull crap about extended warranties, no window etching NOTHING!! Yes this place is a stand up place where they give you what you want and nothing else... After a frustrating week of getting extremely high offers with no budging, not getting approved, and going through lot of hassle at other dealerships, I was so relieved to walk into Liberty Subaru and walk away only a couple hours after with even a better car than the one I originally intended to buy. Mr. Dan Cohen, Rob, and Kevin were so amazing at giving me a low offer right from the start, and getting me approved for an auto loan when I thought it wasn’t possible for me to get one through them. They were knowledgeable and precise while being honest, friendly, and quick. It was so nice to just sit back and let them do all the work as they walked me through the process with all the information I needed. I felt completely at ease and I felt like I was in good hands through the entire process. I really wish I would have started at Liberty Subaru, as it would have saved me a ton of headache and hassle.
