I took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Diesel in for service as some of the lights were on. I was told it would cost $5100 to repair. The parts made up the majority of the cost. I then called the parts dept at Lithia later and asked for prices with the parts number on the repair estimate they had given to me and was given parts prices that were several hundred dollars cheaper than the service dept was trying to charge me. Called the Jeep dealer in Butte and faxed them the quote from Lithia and they quoted me 2000 less than than Lithia for the same job. I met with someone at Lithia to complain and show them the bid from the Butte dealer and they agreed to match the bid as I told them I no problem hauling it to Butte on a flatbed to save $2000. The also tried to get me to trade it in immediatly after the service dept gave me the original estimate. Two salesman took me to a closing room and tried to get the Jeep for nothing as it needed so much money in repairs. I felt like it was all a tactic to get me to trade up for something newer and then they fix my Jeep for cheap and turn around and sell it for a huge profit. Terrible business. Stay away. I got the jeep fixed and immediatly unloaded it. Will not own a Jeep or a Dodge as long as I live in Billings so I won't have to deal with Lithia again. More
