Hannah was amazing When I first arrived I was just originally wanting to get a price range for a Toyota 4 runner. Buyer beware!!!! Tom, the sales manager, at Lithia Hyundai in Reno wants me (and any other person I contact) to be HONEST about MY experience with them! Specifically, Tom, the sales manager, at Lithia Hyundai in Reno wants me (and any other person I contact) to be HONEST about MY experience with them! Specifically, Tom wants me to attest to a conversation I was not there for, where he offered my husband an INCREASE IN PRICE for the repairs to a car that was already priced ABOVE Kelley Blue Book in GREAT condition. There you go Tom. So far, I have been told I would have items repaired by the sales woman and then told they would not in fact be repaired because a SALES PERSON made NO MONEY off the sale by the sales manager, Tom. Why would someone do such a thing I ask? Tom's answer is they make money off the new vehicles and back end purchases and repairs. So, with all the money you make and all of the "back end" money you bring in YOU CANNOT REPAIR THE BUMPERS ON A VEHICLE YOU SOLD MY HUSBAND THAT IS HELD ON WITH DUCT TAPE! So, my new best friend Tom, skirted around and said each sale stands on it's own - after just telling me about where they make their profit as stated above. But wait!! There's more!! The under carriage is torn and loose, the back left mud 'flap' is torn all the way up, but it PASSED ALL OF THEIR SAFETY AND SMOG INSPECTIONS AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT 😑 Tom, so kindly offered, to repair the issues I have, at 'dead cost' and wants me to be happy with our purchase and will do ANYTHING IN HIS POWER to make that happen ... fix the xxxx car Tom ... nope, he can't do that. He can't do that, despite what his sales person said (who he flat out said has no idea what she is doing or what is going on in the dealership and is only there to make people happy and cannot make ANY promises even though she already said she would 'get it all ordered first thing tomorrow morning and set up a time for you to come in'). So, thank you #lythiahyundaiofreno for the duct tape, repairs that will need to happen and that we CANNOT AFFORD and will need to happen with the first storm of the season. I really hope people share this. Not expecting them to do a xxxx thing, but if I can save one person the heartache of a similar or worse experience and dealing with people who do not honor their word, it is worth it. More
