Cheyenne and her techs handled the whole thing in less than 90 minutes.And Lithia has the best (free) coffee machine of any car dealer I've ever visited. The previous oil change you took care of they stated all brakes were at 3 millimeters and needed replaced. $550. My last oil change I told the service associate that to get another measurement and I wanted to look at the pads myself. Car only had 53,000 miles. Well the pads actually grew yes they grew one set was at 4 millimeters and the other was at 8. Not happy that you were going to charge me over $500 for brakes that I didn't need. That is what crooks and scammers do and I'm definitely not saying this is how your business is ran as I've had good experiences before. My second issue when I checked in is they asked if I wanted my tires rotated as its been over 10,000 miles since I have had the car. I paid for lifetime oil changes through Lithia when I bought my car. The lady I was dealing with didn't let me know there was a charge for this. I assumed it was a courtesy that went with the oil change. Well not happy when I left your dealership as I had to pay $28 to have tires rotated. I explained to the associate when checking out I was not told of a charge for this as I have the oil changes. He seemed relieved when I told him I would pay but I was not happy. After my last experience at your place I'm not sure I want to continue. I don't remember who I worked with don't recognize anyone listed. More

Exceedingly slow with minimal communication I have had great experiences with Lithia of Des Moines in the past and expect many more to come. However, with my recent service I dropped off the veh I have had great experiences with Lithia of Des Moines in the past and expect many more to come. However, with my recent service I dropped off the vehicle Thursday midday, received a diagnosis, yet work did not begin until the following Wednesday (for a few small fluid leaks). I issued repeated texts and made several calls specifically asking for updates and received few replies, several 24 hours later. I realize there were challenges in getting approval via our extended warranty, but communication is key if you are going to keep my vehicle for nearly a week while figuring things out. My concerns are as follows: 1. Not enough staffing. It seemed service advisors were overwhelmed and could not respond to customers in general. This was confirmed by the phone operator when I called. Could team members be cross-trained to help pick up the slack? 2. Utilizing the extended warranty (ultimately was effectively applied) seemed difficult. Is there much experience with this product that was heavily promoted by Lithia? Could someone on staff be the lead person to make claims calls for this warranty? 3. Communication lacked some important courtesies. After nearly a week's wait there hasn't been any apology or acknowledgement of this abnormal delay. Phone calls to the front desk included, on two separate occasions, comments like...there's no way you are going to get through to anyone at the service desk. I asked direct questions and did not get responses to those questions. The most important of which, "When will I get my car back?" was not answered until 5pm the following Wednesday. I realize this was abnormal, and have no reason to believe it would happen again, but I wanted to give some honest feedback in the hopes it can help the service center improve. More
Not good service at all My car had problems so I brought it in the middle of October 2019 to get fixed. Almost a month went by before i got it back. I got it back November 16, 2019 and by the next day all my problems were back. The bill cost $1200+. I brought the car back November 22, 2019 to get looked at again. This is where it gets frustrating. I just got my car back January 18, 2020. Thats almost 3 months my car has been there "getting fixed". I called almost daily and sometimes twice a day, the only person that answers the phone is the receptionist, she takes my name and number every time and says she give it to a service person so they will call me back. Not once in the month and a half I called daily did you ever call me back, I asked for Kyle or Matt every time, I never spoke to anyone about what was going on with my car. I walked into the service place January 16 2020 to ask someone in person what was going on with my car. It was at this time i was told it was "done." At this time I didnt even know what they were doing to my car. Apparently they put in a different replacement part, which I did not know, and charged me another $700 "for labor" even though it was covered under warranty. I dont see why I should have had to pay the other $700 when you guys werer the ones that put a bad part in in the first place. Kyle was easy to work with WHEN I was able to talk to him, other than that I never got calls back or any updates. Pretty ridiculous and terribly bad service. Like I said Kyle was super friendly WHEN I was able to talk to him. More

It was ok The people that work there are nice and the facility is clean. My issue is my car came back dirtier than when it went in and the dome light was left on. I didn't get a car wash, which in the past was customary when getting your car serviced. There are now great big smudges (I don't know what they are or how they were created) on the inside of my windshield. Someone must have bumped the map light on the review mirror and didn't notice because it was left on. The reason I would not recommend them to a friend is because their prices are too high for services. If I hadn't gotten the free oil changes for life on my car through them, I would not be taking my care there. More

I was very skeptical at first once I was quoted my repairs. And after I was informed on more work needed I was looking into maybe just buying something else. Now I had work done before on a different repairs. And after I was informed on more work needed I was looking into maybe just buying something else. Now I had work done before on a different vehicle that I was not happy with. But this time my experience has changed my mind on how the service dept. Was top notch. And even helped me get my vehicle out in the early morning.. My vehicle has performed well from the work and am very pleased with my work done. I will recommend all my repairs be fine with the crew I had and they deserve a great job. More
