Intentionally miss lead - hours to do nothing I dropped my vehicle off due to a knocking noise, for an oil change, and to get a Recall for steering completed (as I received a letter) We were drop I dropped my vehicle off due to a knocking noise, for an oil change, and to get a Recall for steering completed (as I received a letter) We were dropped off at the mall to wait. After over 3.5 hours, we called for drive back to dealership, they had my vehicle finally ready. In going over the invoice, for what was done, my oil change was the only thing they completed. I was told the mechanic took it for ride and heard the noise I described, but didn't find out why it was there. So, it was not fixed. I specifically asked about the recall, and was told it was completed and all was good. On return to Nova Scotia, Canada - the shop at Kia found the knocking issue and fixed it, they checked the computer for the recall, and it wasn't billed, so they completed the recall in just over an hour and a half. They told me that the recall had definitely not been completed while in to Lokey. We are from Nova Scotia, and drove our vehicle, with the knocking even worse, and recall not completed, all the way back to Nova Scotia from Florida. (3300 kms) We are not satisfied with the Kia Lokey dealership in Florida... the recall stated that there was a possibility for loss of life, I was directly lied too when told it was completed... We did not get the noise fixed, which was apparently very obvious to the mechanic back here in Nova Scotia. More

Fraud Came to get serviced due to a noise j fee my hood. Also needed a new key and an oil change. Was told a new key was $420. Was told no. While waiting for the car to be serviced, we were approached by a salesman. The most pushy and rude person I’ve come across. I decided to listen to what he had to say. Ended up talking about a new car. Was told that they wouldn’t put me in a used car. I couldn’t even see any. Was talked into test driving the forte. Hated it. When we got back service manager Derrick came and told me my engine had a knock in it. Couldn’t tell me what was causing it. Or where the knock was coming from. I knew the noise was from my serpentine belt. Not a knock. But I listened. Was told o needed a new car or new engine. Cost would be up to $7,000. Then Jason the salesman handed me a piece of paper and told me to sign. I asked for what, he said for my new car. We never agreed to buying the car. Never talked about how mush the exact price was, interest rate, or an exact monthly payment. I said I needed to step away and make a few calls. They were upset but agreed. Then Derrick approached me with the costs of all the “repairs” told me I should just get a new car. Mine might explode down us 19 as soon as I leave. So I was upset. Called my mechanic and for an appointment for a second opinion. salesman approached me again started getting angry that I wasn’t going to sign in my car. Offered a loaner car. We said no not interested. Went to the service department to get my car and it was still on the hoist. We told them we don’t need pricing this exact moment. We wanted to leave with our car. We had both salesman and service guy down our throats pressuring us into taking a loaner car. Finally convinced Derrick to get our car. Against his best judgement he did. After 2.5 hours of waiting, my car was not serviced. They only checked the noise and left it on the hoist. We left. Went to see my mechanic who did a full service. Checked every inch. And it ended up being a worn serpentine belt. We replaced all three belts. We asked about a knock in the engine. Was told there was absolutely no knock. We paid in total $225 for all repairs and an oil change. HVe all documentation from my mechanic and Kia. Contradicts. We were also hounded relentlessly for three days from salesman and service department. I’ve called six times in a week trying to get ahold of Derrick for “prices for repairs” no call or messages back. No email like I requested. Very disappointed. I’ll nwver be back. May never buy Kia again. Jason was ridiculously relentless. Very pushy. Very very disappointed More

Not satisfied with service I went to the service department do to my engine light being on they kept my car for eight hours every time they went to check the light would go I went to the service department do to my engine light being on they kept my car for eight hours every time they went to check the light would go off so they said they could not see what was wrong with it because the light was not on. No sooner did I leave the light went back on stated on for two days and then went off again . If the service department can’t figure out what is going on who can I don’t have all day to waste . More
