I made an appointment for an oil change. The specified time was 9:30 AM. On the date of the service I just happened to check my email and I found that my appointment time had been changed to 11 o'clock wi time was 9:30 AM. On the date of the service I just happened to check my email and I found that my appointment time had been changed to 11 o'clock without my knowledge. When I called to inquire about the time change I was told that was the beginning of the lunch hour and that would probably be better off scheduling the appointment for 1 o'clock so I wouldn't have to wait so long. The lack of face masks was a great concern. The signs on the doors required customers to mask up. Very few employees did. Went next door and same thing. That showroom is large enough to stay away. Appreciate the service. Had to wait a little longer than I should have had to check in. No customers waiting ahead of me, just no rep at quick service and the others wouldn’t check me in. The star is for Heather and Eric-the only helpful people who work there. I have had VWs my whole life (have three in the family currently), but they’ve really gone downhill. Over the last few years I’ve had terrible service experiences at three different VW dealerships. Lokey was the last straw. There is zero communication-you are left for days, even weeks (literally, they had my car for two months) wondering what’s happening with your car. If you call them, they never answer. If you leave messages (even for the manager) you will never get a return call. They broke my windshield while repairing something else, but to their credit, they did replace it free of charge. I also asked (twice) for them to do an oil change while they had the car-it didn’t get done. You are a number here, not a customer. They don’t care about you or your car. They could take some pointers from the service dept at neighboring Lexus or Hyundai. Side note- if you are concerned about covid, don’t come anywhere near this place- zero enforcement of mask wearing for customers nor staff. More
