Lou Fusz Mazda

I initiated contact via the Chat window and wanted to know what the standard warranty is on used vehicles. The gal in the Chat was unable to answer that. She asked for the vehicle ID # which I di know what the standard warranty is on used vehicles. The gal in the Chat was unable to answer that. She asked for the vehicle ID # which I did not have at hand. I then stated I know the vehicle I am interested in is too old to have any factory warranty left. I just want to know if the dealership has a standard warranty that comes with each used vehicle. She then wanted to put me in touch with a sales person. I restated all I want to know is if the dealership has a standard warranty on all used vehicles. She was unable to answer that. What I did find out later, from Josh my sales dude, was that only certified used vehicles have a warranty from the dealership. The others do not. And that additional warranty packages are available for purchase. I would have found it very helpful if the gal I chatted with had that info. It would have saved me time and frustration. I also think any of your CSR that chat with customers should have that base info. at their fingertips. Further details could and should be discussed with a sales person yet this base warranty info. should be common knowledge for all your people working in used car sales. Wouldn't you agree? It was mixed. I was extremely happy I was serviced since they were booked. Was happy w my service advisor. Not happy w explanation why oil leaked.
