I made an appointment over the phone to get a recall repair done. I had someone follow me to the dealership, so I didn't have to sit and wait. Our customer service person spent several minutes enterin repair done. I had someone follow me to the dealership, so I didn't have to sit and wait. Our customer service person spent several minutes entering our data into the computer, and then told us that they don't have the parts for the repair. We were told that they never know when they will have parts, and that we just have to call the morning of to see if they have parts. This is a potentially serious safety issue with the car. It is unsettling to know that we will have to wait for the who knows how long to get the repair done. It is on us to continually call back until we find a day that works and the parts are available. And I was disappointed that I wasn't told this when I made the appointment. It wasted an hour of my time and my rides time to bring the car in when they allowed the appointment to be scheduled. Customer service needs more training on this, and there needs to be a better system than just having the customer call and call until the parts are in. I will be trying a different Honda dealer to see if we can find better customer service. More
