Having decided on two makes of suv's that we were interested in we decided to stop in to Lundgren Honda for a possible test drive of the pilot. Looking around the lot at various pilots we met Fraser interested in we decided to stop in to Lundgren Honda for a possible test drive of the pilot. Looking around the lot at various pilots we met Fraser who was assisting a customer. He asked if he could help us find a particular vehicle. We eagerly asked if we could test drive a pilot. Fraser was prompt and very professional and got us right in to take one for a drive.Long story short we loved the ride and handling of the pilot and knew right then we found the make of suv we wanted.I asked about a certain color and model and within minutes he had answers for us. We found the whole vehicle search and no haggle approach very comfortable and accomodating.We have friends who had purchased cars from Lundgren Honda before and recommended we look there. After shopping at a couple of other dealerships, I found the car I wanted at Lundgren's used car website. Where the other dealers wouldn't tell me how much the cars I was looking at were...really, Lundgren was right up front with that information. Love that!! Neal was fabulous! He was very responsive, made sure all my needs were met and even arranged a loaner when we realized there was a title issue that needed to be worked out. He was very friendly and pro-active. This dealership made me rethink my opinion of car sales. Glenn Campbell is the guy you want to deal with! What a super guy. So genuine and very matter of fact. And a great sense of humor if he lets it slip out:) He is well versed in every Honda vehicle and even a geek like me who researches everything about every car was able to learn something. He made me feel welcome the minute I walked in but was never pushy. This was the most laid back low pressure place ever. I really put them through a lot because I test drove a bunch of cars and went back and forth for days..And every time I asked a question or wanted to drive a different car they were more than obliging. I liked the no haggle pricing and they gave me more for my trade than any other dealer I shopped. I personally feel that maybe I could have got the car cheaper somewhere else if I played the game a little and spent hours haggling or comparing prices from each dealer or driving all over the pike and route 128 to different dealers. In fact I know I could have saved a little. So why did I buy my Fit and CR-V from them? Because who the heck has time these days to go through all that...Just to save a few hundred bucks? I paid way less than sticker. A little above invoice. And got more than KBB for my trade. What else could you want? And really you're not saving ANYTHING by going elsewhere because this dealership automatically extends every car warranty by like 40,000 miles. That's huge:) Anyway it was a great experience and the service department was perfect too. Free loaners for the life of the car and a full breakfast bar too:) All in all, You get the feeling that everyone there has your best interest in mind and loves what they do. You cannot put a price tag on being treated with respect. Glenn Campbell and Lundgren Honda are the best! More
I am so happy I got my new CR-V from Lundgren Honda. I will never buy another car anywhere else! It is the first vehicle that I ever bought and I really liked how there was no pressure! I went into Lundgren interested in the CRV. I wasn't sure if I wanted new,used or lease. Jonathan was extremely helpful by starting the process via email, so when I went INTO the dealership it was really qu if I wanted new,used or lease. I have always dreaded the car buying experience, but the experience at Lundrgren is completely different. They clearly understands what customer service is supposed to be about. It is very apparent that they respect and value their customers. I oversee a retail division and plan on using my experience at Lundgren as an example of how to treat a customer properly when training the managers in my company. Mt Fraser was the sale representative that assisted me and worked hard to make sure we found exactly what we were looking for in a very short time frame and ensured that all of the paperwork was completed in time for a Christmas surprise for my wife. Mr Kenney, the Sales Manager made sure the car arrived in time for us and followed up after delivery with a few details that we did not have the time to complete due to the short time frame we were all working in. Mr. McEwen, the General Manager, was personally involved to make sure my family was completely satisfied with the purchase of our new Odyssey. I was especially impressed that Mr. Lundgren took the time to be involved and was genuinely interested that we were well taken care of by his dealership. In this day and age of 'buyer beware', it is nice to find a place of business that clearly conducts their business with the customer in mind and understands that their future success is directly tied to building a faithful base of customers by simple good old fashion caring about their customers. I was looking for a used car for my step son age 21. When we arrived at Lundgren Honda I told the young salesman Jonathan Mason that I didn't trust car dealer salesman. Mr. Mason calmly told me that he wanted to earn my trust. Mr. Mason was polite, informative and seemed to be a very honest person. I know some car salesmen are aggressive and dishonest, we have that in every business but this guy seemed different. I have dealt with other car salesman and have had bad experiences. We drove a few used cars as Mr. Mason knew what I was looking for. When it was time to discuss price Mr. Mason repeated what he had said when we first came into the dealership. That the price that we had seen online was a firm price and there would not be any negotiations on price. (He didn't say it like that but that's what I got out of what he did say). So when I tried to negotiate for a better price Mr. Mason stated that he could not compromise the integrity the dealership has as a way of doing things. (or something like that). Even though he knew that I would walk away from the deal he did not budge with the price. I left the dealership. My step son really liked the vehicle but I told him that we would look further for another vehicle. Mr. Mason called be about 10 minutes after I left the dealership. He stated that he would try and speak with management to try and see what he could do to sell us that 2005 Honda Accord. Tomorrow came and Mr. Mason called and stated that he could not do any better on the price and that the price was a great deal for the vehicle. After doing some research online we decided to buy the vehicle. One of the key selling points was the 6 month, 6000 mile warranty which no other dealership would give on a used vehicle. That and the fact that Mr. Mason guaranteed that the dealership would fix the front end noise that I heard during the test drive which ended up being an axel. In closing I was very happy with the experience and I told Mr. Mason that I would be recommending him and Lundgren Honda for anyone I knew who was looking to buy a vehicle.
