This causes you to not be able to accelerate, which is especially important while driving in traffic, switching lanes, etc. I was nearly run into twice because I could not accelerate and get out of the way of oncoming traffic. My service adviser said he has had the complaint before and after driving my vehicle said that he experienced the delay, wished it didn't do that, but that's normal for this vehicle. I talked to John, the service manager, and he too has heard the complaint before but tried to blame driving habits on the issue. He basically said that "erratic" driving is when it shows up. No...it happens during normal driving conditions like turning into my driveway, going through a drive-thru restaurant lane, etc., as well as times it is critically needed that you accelerate, which he called erratic. To summarize, the vehicle is destined to be in an accident because of this issue. What I expected from a professional manager was to put the customer first, agree that the delay issue could cause an unfortunate accident, and, since they couldn't fix it, get me together with sales and find a more suitable vehicle for city driving. He did none of that. Also, the sales team needs to disclose the issue to potential buyers. John told me that he has heard the majority of complaints on this issue from drivers of 2016 and newer Acura MDX's. If you own one of these models and bought it there, did they disclose that? I hope so, but kind of doubt it. Anyway, I'll be getting a different vehicle soon...but not there. They don't want my business. So the problem is, will anyone want my car when I disclose the issue? I wouldn't. More
Very disappointing I bought my car here in 2005. I have had all oil changes and repairs done here. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and agreed to a 120,0 I bought my car here in 2005. I have had all oil changes and repairs done here. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and agreed to a 120,000 mile check-up since I was there and had the time. I was informed three lights (one headlight and both fog lights) needed to be replaced and of labor costs due to having to drop the bumper to get at the fog lights. The total bill was over $1000.00. Six days later I noticed one fog light was out. I took my car back in and was told there was a miscommunication. They thought I only wanted one bulb replaced. Inconceivable! Now I was going to be charged for labor a second time. I asked that they speak to a manager about this situation. They did and in the end I was not charged. I no longer have the confidence I have enjoyed in the past. Many errors on the write-up, like describing my car as an Acura not a Subaru. I will not go back. More

I dropped my car the night before the service and was picking up the loaner. The loaner that was given to me was a base model. I know and have known that there are advanced model in the loaner department. I also wanted to test drive a 2016 Advanced loaner so I can trade my 2015 to a 2016. I was not even given the consideration to make sure the car had at least GPS if not all the bells and whistles of the Advanced. I had to use my phone for the entire time (where I have no iPhone and all I had was Android and not able to use the smartphone feature) for my navigation in town. So I would advise the next time, they at least know the customer and also ask them or let them know if it is acceptable based on what the customer drives and not just shove them into a loaner because that is all your job is. I have been with Luther since 2004 and would like to continue that relationship. Hope this is given its due consideration. Thanks Laxmi More

Took 3 hours, didn't do customers in order they came in They quoted me up to and hour and a half, after the 2 hour mark they said they'd be starting mine soon. I saw about 6-8 customers come and wait 30-40 They quoted me up to and hour and a half, after the 2 hour mark they said they'd be starting mine soon. I saw about 6-8 customers come and wait 30-40 minutes and then leave, it's like they forgot about me, lost the paper work or something. Then after 3 hrs, I got my car back. It stalled upon starting it due to new battery, so had to wait an additional 30 minutes for that to get sorted out. At least nobody stole my iPhone charger like last time I was there. More

They explained in detail what was wrong with my car and how it could be fixed which by the way is under the Warranty, so there is no cost to me. They also provide loaner cars and work well within my work schedule. I plan on keeping my Subaru for a long time so am glad I have a reputable dealer to get my service done. More
