Average experience - If you go prepared I bought a used van at this dealership. After weeks of researching and tracking prices, I found one that I liked and for an ok price. I left Luther Hyundai with the van for the price I had in mind. Overall, an average experience... no better or worse than other dealerships.... The finance guy wasn't pleased that I wasn't financing with them and didn't want their warranty. He also claimed that he wasn't aware of the price that I negotiated with sales. The sales guy actually told me that power train warranty doesn't transfer when ownership is transferred. I cannot stress this enough... if you are going in to buy a car with any dealership, 1. Do your homework... take a couple of weeks, research the car you are going to buy, including recalls and price. This especially important if you don't know much about cars. Don't expect the sales person to cover that for you. 2. You will face a warranty and financing conversation - be well prepared for the conversations. If you have outside financing, prepare for that conversation. The dealership will want a full check before you take your vehicle and the outside financing will need to see paper work before they release the check. My experience with this got a bit messy because I assumed that I was not the first one doing it and went in ill prepared. More

Love the Tucson. Romelo was great. My complaint is with whoever wrote up the contract. We bought the vehicle in April, and was told no payments until August. I asked several times and was told August will be our first payment. To my surprise, I got a late payment text around the end of May. I called finance. I called Hyundai Finance. I called Hyundai Assurance. No one could or would help me. We finally just made the payment a few days ago. With my wife just furloughed this past week, it would have been nice to have the payments delayed until August. Otherwise, we love our Tucson and Elantra. More
