I purchased my 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible on August 23, 2025. The main reason I chose this car was its exceptionally low mileage of just 16,418 miles, and it was advertised as being in pristine, August 23, 2025. Before delivery, I was assured by salesperson D’Loveantae Allen that the car had been fully serviced and was ready to drive. Unfortunately, my experience told a very different story. First, I had repeated issues simply trying to register the vehicle. Due to the dealership’s mishandling of the title paperwork, it took three separate attempts before I was finally able to register the car. Then, on October 10, 2025, while enjoying a drive with the top down, the check engine light suddenly came on. AutoZone’s preliminary diagnosis suggested a coolant system issue, and the car had to go into the shop for repairs. To make matters worse, I discovered that the engine oil had never been serviced, raising serious concerns about what other maintenance the dealership failed to perform before selling the car. Given these problems — misleading assurances, title delivery delays, and immediate mechanical issues — I cannot recommend Brookdale Volkswagen or D’Loveantae Allen. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership. More
