Thanks for wasting an hour and a half of my day Called about a used truck they had on the lot. Was advised they could not ballpark my 2015 WRX and that I have to bring it in. Told Linda the sales woman that I work till 4, will drive down from St Paul then. Got there and the truck is nowhere on the lot. I email Linda back asking if the truck was sold. She gets back to me after I have already driven back to MPLS. NO the truck is still here, but its in the shop, they are doing work on it and that I should have come in. People don't want to talk to anyone in sales at any point if they don't have to. Thanks for wasting my afternoon Linda, Burnsville is lovely this time of year. If anyone is interested I still have every email that went back and forth to corroborate. More
Dealership GM advocate for the customer We had a reacall / service issue with our 2015 Volkswagen car that needed the manufacturer to address and their initial response was not satisfactory We had a reacall / service issue with our 2015 Volkswagen car that needed the manufacturer to address and their initial response was not satisfactory to us. We sat down with Jay Radue and discussed our concerns. Jay listened to our concerns and then was a strong advocate for us to get our concerns addressed with the manufacturer. He escalated our concerns up through management levels until our concerns were addressed appropriately. I know he did not have to escalated as far as he did but he wanted to do what was right. But Jay and team made my wife and I feel valued as current customer and future customer. I typically categorizes customer service as either a duck or eagle and there are a lot of ducks out there but Jay and team are Eagles soaring above it all and got it right. Thank you Jay! More
Deceptive sales techniques We were looking to buy a used vehicle, and found 4 examples of deception. We don't fault the young else man, rather these appeared to be institutional We were looking to buy a used vehicle, and found 4 examples of deception. We don't fault the young else man, rather these appeared to be institutional practices. First, they wouldn't let us use our pre- approved loan. They insisted we use one of their lenders, at a higher interest rate. Second, they wanted all of our phone. Numbers and email addresses, and then told us they ever share our information, but asked us to sign a Consent, which when I read it, consented them to sharing with anyone they wanted for any reason we wanted. Third, they wouldn't take a personal check for a down payment. They suggested that we go to an ATM and bring sacks of cash, and said they have lots of people do that. So we left, and bought a comparable car from a nearby competitor,and we had none of those issues. But we did find another issue. Fourth, when we went to the next dealer, we were advised there was a recall on a part on that same model. Luther never disclosed that and we learned that because they are not a Mazda dealer, they could not do the repair. We would have had to take the vehicle to a Mazda dealer after the purchase. The whole experience was on deception after another. More
First-time buyer I recently leased a 2016 Tiguan from this dealer. This was my first time leasing/buying a car and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. They were really friendly and helpful throughout the process. We had to wait a week or so for the car to be shipped to the dealer but they maintained great communication the whole time and were easy to work with. Adam was my sales rep and is really good at what he does. Would recommend this dealer to anyone!! More
Great Service! I was looking for a used VW Tiguan. I was helped by John Trombley on my first visit. He is a wonderful man and not a pushy car salesman type of pers I was looking for a used VW Tiguan. I was helped by John Trombley on my first visit. He is a wonderful man and not a pushy car salesman type of person. He answered all of my questions (and I had many!), he took the time for me to come back for a 2nd test drive and wasn't calling me constantly to follow-up. Once I decided to make my purchase he walked me through the buying process and gave me a tour of their dealership, explaining what happens when I need service, etc. He went the extra mile with helping me to add accessories onto my vehicle which was very much appreciated. After that he passed me on to Tom Walsh in the finance department. Tom was very helpful, he worked with both myself and my bank to get my old car paid off and to get the payment schedule set to where I wanted it to be. Overall, this was a fantastic car buying experience, I would recommend John Trombley and his dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle, they are TOP NOTCH!! More
