Went in with a concern about my truck’s DPF Regen Process I took my GMC 3500HD in because of a concern that the DPF regeneration process was not working. The mechanic sai the Regen process should initiate at I took my GMC 3500HD in because of a concern that the DPF regeneration process was not working. The mechanic sai the Regen process should initiate at approximately 40 grams of soot and mine was at 80 grams. They replaced the #4 glow plug did a manual Regen process and said that should cure the problem. The truck currently does do a Regen at approximately 80 grams of soot. I stopped at another GMC dealer and they told me that the malfunctioning #4 glow plug would have no impact on the Regen process. Basically Luther GMC did not need to replace the glow plug since it had nothing to do with the Regen process. I appreciated them getting me in on an emergency basis, but am disappointed that they charged me for a repair that was not related to the problem I came in with. More

diagnosed problem quickly and fixed it I was pleased the little noise problem was diagnosed so quickly and although the fix took longer and cost more than I would have liked, I was happily I was pleased the little noise problem was diagnosed so quickly and although the fix took longer and cost more than I would have liked, I was happily on my way with my new non-leaking a/c condenser. I didn't meet the fixers in back but Dan, the diagnoser, and Paul especially, my service rep who arranged everything were excellent...as were the two shuttle drivers who got me where I needed to be. More
