Luther Family Ford responded

Thank you for your feedback. I left you a voicemail yesterday but have not received a call back. I also did some research on your tire issue and it appears that when you purchased the vehicle from us, new tires had just been put on the vehicle less than 6,000 miles prior to you buying it. Our vehicle inspection shows the tires in near new condition with very little tread wear compared new tread measurements for that tire. We would not have replaced tires that are basically new. During my research it does show that you purchased the vehicle from us with 106,384 miles and failed to rotate the tires until 125,577 miles. Tire manufacturers recommend that you rotate your tires every 6,000 miles. With that recommendation you should have rotated them 2 additional times, first at 112,384 miles and second at 118,384 miles. You did not rotate for 19,193 miles which is over 3 times the recommended miles. Failure to rotate the tires will result in uneven wear which will cause tires to go bad long before their manufacturer's normal life expectancy. I do understand your frustration in having to purchase new tires a little over two years into your ownership of the vehicle but I can't see where we are responsible to pay for your new tires when you failed to follow the manufacturer's rotation intervals. I should also mention that when you drove on a flat tire it did wreck the tire. Being you have an AWD vehicle you can't just replace one tire (unless all remaining tires are in near new condition) so all tires have to then be replaced. Hello The tires have been rotated we just didn’t do all rotations at Luther Ford because one time I asked that to be done it never got done and they said it did and I mark my tires so I know if a place rotated them we have all our service slips and doesn’t matter where you get rotated we have done at Costco once and Valvoline and even sams so to say we never rotated them and uneven wear is incorrect information. I will be calling you to discuss as this info is misleading to what has all been said to us
