No charge! I dropped off my daughter's 2007 Civic (233,000 miles) because of an occasional starting problem. Unluckily the problem failed to manifest itself while the car was in the shop, despite diagnostic testing and repeated car starts throughout the day. So Dane didn't charge me for the diagnostic testing - because, he said, "You'll probably end up having to bring the car in again." Obviously I was grateful for the break on the diagnostic-testing charges! More
