I'd taken my truck to 3 other dealers. Every one of them just wanted to reprogram the transmission. Charles and crew took a legit look at it and found the issue. Mak Haik Ford sold me a “new” car with rodent damage and then tried to make me pay for the repairs. The car I purchased was a loaner car with 650 miles on it, but was considered “new”. I didn’t realize at then tried to make me pay for the repairs. The car I purchased was a loaner car with 650 miles on it, but was considered “new”. I didn’t realize at first that the check engine light was on. I had to go out of town right after I purchased it, so when I went to pick up my license plates, I reported it to my salesman and someone in the service department who said to arrange the loaner car with my salesman and bring it back anytime and they would look at. Salesman told me the next day that they had no loaner cars, even though I paid for this service when I bought the car. He then never tried again to get me a loaner or call me back. When I called to try and make a service appointment, I was told to just bring it in anytime. I was again told they had no loaner cars, but they would get me a ride home. I dropped by Quick Lane with the car and Shay all but accused me of lying when I said I had talked to someone in the service department and was told to just bring it in. He was very put out and said there was no record of my call. He then went and talked to someone in the back. He came out and had a complete change of demeanor, falling all over himself to be nice to me this time. Now all of a sudden they had loaner cars. I was given a loaner car. Shay called the next day to tell me there was rodent damage to the car to the tune of $1200 and it was my responsibility to pay for it. I told him there was no way that happened on my watch. He said I needed to look for rat poop in my garage! Funny, my previous Ford was housed in my garage for six years without rat damage! I called my salesman (who was off that day). He said he would talk to someone the next day. I decided to go to the dealership and talk with the sales manager. He resolved the problem so that I was not charged for the damage. Shay called to tell me I could pick up the car and there was no charge for the repairs. He also reminded me I would receive a survey and to remember he was the one who helped me resolve this. This was the third new car I purchased there. My salesman never even returned my phone call when he was back at work to apologize for selling me a car with rodent damage and a check engine light on. I took the car to an independent mechanic and had him check it. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed there’s not going to be more damage. I know where these cars are parked outside and to blame that on me was deplorable! I guess they thought they could pull one over on me since I’m a woman. I will never buy another car from Mak Haik or recommend them to anyone! More

It really helped ease my worry and gave me peace of mind. I really appreciate his great communication and excellent service. More
