I scheduled an appointment to drop off my 2024 pickup truck on a Thursday morning for service due to a possible issue with the transmission. It has fewer than 5,000 miles and is still under warranty. I called the next day for a status update and was told that it would be the middle of the following week before they could get to it. When I called back the middle of the following week, I was told it would be at least another week before they could get to it. I asked the service manager if I could come back by and pick it up and bring it back the day before they could service it and was told no, that I would lose my place in line. That’s not service. It’s important to know I bought the truck from this dealership and they can’t even have someone look at the transmission? Not happy at all. More

After inquiring about a certified vehicle for sale, I was quickly contacted to determine my needs and if there were any questions that were outstanding. Because the vehicle was certified, I was able to access the CarFax to determine the vehicle's history and number of owners. The mileage was higher than what I was looking for, but the service history indicated the previous owner's utilized Ford dealerships for maintenance, which was a positive. I was assigned Gerardo Holguin as the salesperson, and he was knowledgeable about the vehicle options already installed. Gerardo was quick to communicate while not being pushy at the same time. I ended up flying from Georgia to Texas to make the purchase within 2 weeks of locating the vehicle in the Mac Haik Ford Lincoln of Georgetown inventory. Because of the 13 hr driving distance, I used the option to have my vehicle delivered, and Gerardo was able to provide me a local contact at Montway Auto Transport. Gerardo notified me when the vehicle was picked up, and the Auto Transport driver delivered it 2 days later. Overall, I had a positive experience purchasing a vehicle from Mac Haik and would recommend them in the future as the entire staff worked with me as an out of state purchaser. More
My 2016 F350 posted a low fuel pressure warning. The service center looked and told me I had DEF in the fuel. I have owned the car for 8 years and would never put DEF in the fuel. I also informed them that the truck was running fine. No misfires or other issues associated with DEF in the fuel. They did not take the extra steps to double-check their findings. I took it to another diesel shop, who said NO DEF. Change the fuel filters and the air filter. I have waited about 30 days, and the truck is still running great. I was a good Mac Haik service customer—no more. More
