In and Out I came in for a check-up and oil change. My tech said it would be about an hour and a half and he was correct. Many thanks to the service team and managers who tried to help!! My new 2017 RAV4 had a loud whine noise related to the transmission upon deceleration. Toyota Corp had been consulted on the 2nd service visit for the same whine, presented evidence that other RAV4s had same issue, and online search also revealed evidence of problem. Today was my third service to have the issue resolved. The bottom line is that Toyota Corp. had Maita inform me that the whine falls within normal drive specs (basically, live with it because we don't know what the issue is so can't fix or issue a TSB). This is also a way for Toyota Corp to work around the CA lemon laws. Now, I have permanent buyer's remorse and my loyalty to Toyota is no longer. More

Repair issue taken care of I had an issue with my truck where I kept hearing a whistling sound every time I hit a bump, no matter the speed. I took my truck in to have them take a look at it. When they couldn't figure out what it was, I did a test drive with a technician to show them what the noise was. Marlon was extremely helpful and made sure my repair issue was resolved. Marlon helped me all three days that I had to come in for this repair. I really appreciate his help. More
