Charging stations are such a great service and we know it’s a real convenience to be able to charge your Toyota Plug-In Prius before heading home after work to ensure optimal fuel efficiency by using the rechargeable electric battery. As Ken explained, just be sure to be extra cautious when charging your Plug-In Prius at any charging station that is not a Leviton. The Leviton stations are Toyota’s preferred stations and when not using one to charge your Toyota Plug-In Prius or RAV4EV, the connection from the charger to the vehicle needs to be removed with caution to prevent damage the car’s charging receptacle.
