The service people I delt with directly were fine. However, the diagnostics on my cars issues were completely wrong, and the fix that was recommended was completely unnecessary and would not have solv However, the diagnostics on my cars issues were completely wrong, and the fix that was recommended was completely unnecessary and would not have solved the issue. I had the service person take notes when I dropped it off and asked that they pull the solenoid and check the VVT screens, both upper and lower for crud, which was the issue that was solved at the El Cerrito dealership last year. They did not check the screen and just told me I had a bad connector at the Solinoid. In addition, they attempted to sell me a new wiring harness for $3500 instead of a new $10 VVT solenoid connector, which they said was unavailable except through pick and pull. I googled the connector and they are commonly available at Napa auto parts and I had one the next day and installed it myself in 10 min. I was told if I could find one of those connectors at pick and pull they’d install it for $600 bucks, xxx Manly Honda!?!?!! I doubt I will ever use your dealership again because of my experience. This was a couple weeks ago and I’ve since bought a 2017 Honda ridgeline. I will be taking my Honda elsewhere for service because I can’t trust you guys. More
