A/C repair of Kia Optima A/C was blowing warm air. Had Mark Kia do testing; they found a leak in a line that needed replacement. Because of leak, Freon was nearly gone. They r A/C was blowing warm air. Had Mark Kia do testing; they found a leak in a line that needed replacement. Because of leak, Freon was nearly gone. They replaced line, filled Freon & replaced A/C filter. A/C now works GREAT!! Tyler was my service advisor & did a great job! More
Bait and switch I was ready to buy a car. I had done my research, had checkbook in hand and was ready to make the deal. I called Mark Kia and talked to Jose in the in I was ready to buy a car. I called Mark Kia and talked to Jose in the internet department and provided the stock number from their website for the car I was interested in. He politely told me it was in stock so I drove four cities over to go get the car. Thirty minutes later, when I arrived at the dealership, Jose showed me a similar, but different car than the one I inquired about. He told me they just sent my car out for a dealer trade. They completely wasted my time and gas driving all the way out there for something they didn't have. The sales manager came out and apologized about the situation, but that's completely unacceptable to outright lie about the status of a car, just to get me down to the dealership. If they legitimately did make the dealer trade, I should have been called, but was not. I'm very disappointed in Mark Kia and will not be doing any future sales or service business with them due to this experience. I did end up buying another car in the right color, equipped the way I wanted, from another Kia dealership that night. More
Shady sales tactics and overpriced I worked with a young kid who seemed friendly at first until we sat down to talk numbers. The #s on paper just weren't adding up especially with their market value showing higher than the msrp price. Either way, I wasn't willing to pay $28k out the door for a new Kia Niro LX that is less than $23k msrp. He had to go talk to his manager to work the #s until the manager finally came over. I had also given my keys for his manager to take a further peek at my car. You could tell he was all about pressure sales and would just change the monthly payment amount but not the end price. I knew I wasn't getting a deal when they could offer me kbb price for my trade-in. After at least 30 mins I had asked for my keys back multiple times, which they kept hesitating to give back to me. When I finally got them back I told them I had to run to the bank. Come to find out, they not only took my car for a drive without my consent but moved it so I couldn't leave. That was the last straw for me as I will not be forced to by a car by these sketchy sales tactics. When I finally got someone to help me track my car down, I just left as I was so done with those people. Worst part, I just checked my credit and noticed they ran a hard inquiry when I didn't authorize it and was informed none would be run, stay away from these guys! I went to Tempe Kia a couple hours later that had much better service and better price too. Tip: Don't buy GAP insurance or the extended warranty from dealers, they are overpriced and both can be shopped around for later. More

Long waits for answers and service work I brought my 2014 KIA Sorento in for service due to the car idling very roughly (62,000 miles). It took several weeks for KIA service to give me any a I brought my 2014 KIA Sorento in for service due to the car idling very roughly (62,000 miles). It took several weeks for KIA service to give me any answers. Every phone call took days to be returned. They had to perform tests and send results to KIA engineering then wait for recommendations. They tried several things that didn’t work, including ordering a fuel injector, waiting several days for it to come in, installing it and having it immediately fail. At this point they told me they would need to call in a Regional service rep. This took 10 days. The regional rep determined it was an engine harness and the part was ordered and installed. KIA consumer affairs got involved and they were even worse at communicating. They said they would pay for the engine harness as a gesture of goodwill. I still paid over $1400 for the fuel injector part that failed and labor for all the silly things that were done prior to the regional rep visit. One of these things was cleaning the engine with brushes, which the service manager admitted to me he didn’t think was the problem. While I’m happy that KIA paid for the engine harness, I’m still very unhappy with the length of time this entire repair took (one month!) and the poor communication. I have little to no confidence in this service facility and will not bring my car back there. This is my 3rd KIA from Mark Kia. More
