Fantastic experience. I went through the Carpro website and immediately received a message from the owner John Driebe (which was after hours). Garrett then took care of the upfront paperwork and detailing the car. By the time my wife and I got to the dealership, most of the information needed was done and the focus was on the details of the car. We test drove the vehicle and then saw Steve Wray to finish up the paperwork. With a lot of questions on our end and a generous amount of patience on both Garrett and Steve's end (we didn't arrive at the dealership until probably close to 7pm), we were on our way in under 2 hrs. We arrived at Mazda of Elk Grove on December 22nd after a very bad experience the day before in Roseville. We were still looking for another vehicle, however we were very irritated with the process. We really had no idea what we were looking for but Ratish was very helpfull in assisting us with our decision. Their was no pressure from him to buy one vehicle or another, and after we decided what we wanted their still was no pressure to move forward with the purchase. It was all at our pace. The price we paid for the vehicle was very fair and under book price. When it came time for the financing Steve was able to get us a much better interest rate than we originally thought. Again... Their was no pressure to buy any extras. We have bought many vehicles over the years and this is the perfect example of how buying a vehicle "should" be. First off, the staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive when I walked into the showroom. I worked with Matt Heidrich in Sales and he took excellent care of me. He listened to my wants and needs in a new car and was also very considerate when discussing my purchase price and payment limits. He did not try to sell me on anything that was above my price/payment point and for that I am grateful. I felt like I was in control, which is ultimately how it should be when making a major purchase decision such as this. After Matt and I went over my options, we test drove and I took a of couple days to make my decision. I did have some questions after I left the dealership and was able to contact Matt on his cell phone for clarification; he went above and beyond in my opinion since I called him after hours. When I went back in to complete my final paperwork, Matt was very thorough in his explanations and answered any additional questions I had. From there I moved on to Financing and worked with Steve Wray. Steve was very informative and explained everything in detail. If I didn't understand, he took the time to explain again in a way that made me understand. The process was quite painless in my opinion. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Mazda of Elk Grove and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone I know that is looking to buy a new, used or leased vehicle. My experience in Mazda of Elk Grove was positive. The place isn't wasn't as crowded as the dealerships in Roseville and the empty roads by the unfinished EG Mall made a good place for a test drive. Jaik helped me to buy my first car from a dealership. I was a little hesitant to look at a used car because I haven't had good luck with them.
