My first experience with Roswell Mazda is when I purchased a used 2016 CX5. Was great buying experience with Phil Alvin and Louis in finance. But even greater then that was when I went for my first oil change and they discovered a problem with the rear brakes. They said I could not drive the car until they resolved the problem and gave me a loaner. I thought great 5 thousand miles and already an expensive proposition. When it was ready I was told it needed new rear caliper, rotors and brake pads. I closed my eyes as I was expecting a large bill. I ask how much was it. They said they should have caught this when I bought the car so it was no charge. From that moment on I became a loyal Mazda of Roswell customer. After 5 thousand miles they could have told me it was my problem but were honest. We have since bought two new ones and would not even consider any other dealer. More
The Service Department at Mazda of Roswell is HORRIBLE! I assumed my first negative experience with them was a fluke. Making an appointment for an oil change was difficult. They made it seem like I was asking for "the impossible" just to get them to service the car that THEY sold me. After waiting several days, I was granted an audience with the technicians and received an oil change and tire rotation. I did, however, turn down their recommendation to change a filter (for $60) and opted to replace it myself (for $10), they texted and emailed me for weeks trying to get me to come back in and purchase their overpriced equipment. My second experience was even worse. My 4 attempts at calling the Service Department were in vane. No one would even answer the phone and their "mail-box was full". The receptionist had to walk back to the Service Desk and ask them to please pick up the line. When my call was finally answered, I was told that I would have to wait almost 3 weeks for an appointment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I went down the street and received an oil change and a tire rotation for half the price that I was charged at Mazda of Roswell on my first visit, and I was in and out within an hour. No appointment necessary. How do you stay in business when you can't even service what you sell? That's 2 strikes. I probably won't stick around for a 3rd. More
Roswell Mazda location is clean and inviting. Associates are friendly. I brought my CX-9 in for routine service and had no plans on test driving any cars. Ron approached me as I was walking in to pick up my car. He was very friendly and had a contagious smile and was not pushy. I ended up test driving the Mazda 3 and the Miata. Ron did a great job of explaining the features of both cars. I will definitely be returning to Roswell Mazda to purchase a Miata stick shift from Ron when the time is right. Thank you Ron! More
