When I go to purchase a car, I have all my details worked out and agreed upon prior to getting to the dealership. I've done this my last 6 cars and it's worked like a champ every time, until I went to McDono out and agreed upon prior to getting to the dealership. I've done this my last 6 cars and it's worked like a champ every time, until I went to McDonough Nissan. I worked out an agreement to purchase a used Rouge with "manager" Maya White. At 1 pm Maya texted advising me the car had to be transferred in from their sister dealership in Conyers. Later, Maya texted "We are able to have the car ready for you by 3:30. Does 3:45pm or 4:15pm work for you?" I replied "Sounds great" and started my drive. When I got there, a salesman met me at the door and I immediately said I was there to meet with Maya. He said "Ok.. Just follow me." He took me to his desk.. pulled up my information and said he'd be right back. (At the time I thought it was to let Maya know I was there.) A few minutes later.. the same salesman returned.. without manager Maya White.. stating "The vehicle was sold at the Conyers store but I've got 4 other Rogues I can show you however they are priced higher." (IMAGINE THAT.) I might have believed this however that means they would have known the car was sold prior to transferring it to the McDonough location. "IF" this had just been some type of "error" in their system. There was MORE than enough time to simply call and tell me instead of continuing to have me believe we had a deal in place and letting me make a totally useless trip to their dealership. Clearly, This was a total "bait and switch". Needless to say we went home without a car today. I will never give this place my business and hope nobody else has this happen to them. This is just BAD BUISNESS and a "MANAGER" condoning this, AND taking part in the pathetic scheme is absolutely LOW and DISGUSTING! More
