So let me tell you guys a little story about this place!! My future son n law saved money for months on end to purchase a car. When I tell you he saved a substantial amount believe you/me it was well above 5k. Less than two weeks ago he went in to purchase a vehicle. He put down almost half the total cost of the vehicle, financed the balance. 14 hours later the check engine light came on. He took it back, they told him the vehicle was repaired. He went to pick it up-they didn’t even drive the vehicle around to him- they handed him keys told him it was in the parking lot and he had to go find the car- exactly one week and one day from the original purchase date the check engine light came on again. He took the vehicle someone else to determine the problem turns out the catalytic converter is bad. Turns out the vehicle won’t pass emissions. Turns out they didn’t provide paper work for the service last week because they didn’t do anything except reset the codes. Now they are refusing to return his down payment and void the contract!! So now this poor kid worked and saved for a year for this place and these people to steal his money, provide him with a piece of crap vehicle and take advantage of him. This is how they do business!! This is not someplace any of you should do business! More

Now she’s stuck with a 8,000 car that needs 12,000 worth of work. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Not impressed with McDonough Nissan. My daughter is going off to college and has no car! More

My 19 year old son worked hard for over a year saving to put down $7000 on a Sentra. 14 hours later the check engine light came on. He took it back, like they said. Two days later, he picks the car back up after they assured us they had repaired and resolved the issue. Two days later the check engine light came on again. We went back today to be told that it was no longer their problem and that they had hooked the car up to a code reader the first time we took it back. When they saw it was the catalytic converter they said it doesn't affect the drivablity of the vehicle so they just cleared the codes and gave the car back to my son!! So yes, they LIED about repairing the issue the first time! I literally recorded Godson Sowah telling us these things! He was very nice and insisting to us that he was on our side. He was definitely the "Good Cop", but I do NOT recommend this place at all!! Once they take your money, you have to take it up with the financing company according to the general manager Godson had us speak to about our issues with the shady behavior with my son's car. As of now, Nissan has not done right by my son. They are telling him they will repair the car once the warranty my son purchased at the time he purchased the car becomes active or he can trade it in for something else on their lot, but that trust is definitely broken! It has been 9 days and some of those days the car has already been back in the possession of the dealership for supposed repairs! Obsurd that you do not stand behind your dealings better than that! Customers believe there is a certain amount of protection purchasing from an actual dealer and you should value your customers more than this!! More
