The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

This was honestly the easiest and best experience I’ve had buying a car in the past 20+ years. I found the Honda that I wanted online and I reached out the them via email. Akira answered back promptly and he gave me a straight and fair offer. I told him that if he can honor that price, I would sign that day. At the dealer, Akira and Maia had my car and the papers ready with the numbers we had agreed to. Nelly was fast and efficient at financing as well. Signed and left with the car all in 2.5 hours. Could not ask for better! More
