Shady business practices - buyer beware! I asked for the lease buyout paperwork to finance my leased vehicle through an online company. Was told by Fernando Ricci and Tom Crowley over the phone "since the car is more than 5,000 miles over the agreed mileage limit you cannot buy the car directly. We have to put it back into inventory, and you have to pay over the overage in mileage and other potential excess wear and tear before you can buy the car for the agreed upon amount." Checking my lease contract it clearly stated that I can buy the car for $xxx plus $150 purchase fee at the end of the lease if I choose to do so. I sent an email to Fernando and Tom asking for the part of the contract with the "5,000 miles over the mileage limit clause". Didn't hear back and sent another email including the general manager of MBKC. Received another email from Fernando telling me to call him asap. I declined and asked again for the document with the 5,000 miles clause. Received another email from Fernando stating "there is no such thing" and to call him so he can explain the process to me. Obviously I was no longer interested in doing anything over the phone and requested all further communication in writing. Fernando just referred me to MB Financial Services, effectively denying me the lease buyout paperwork I needed. I'm now financing through MBFS, and then refinance with the online company I had chosen initially. Unbelievable business practice, and I will definitely not do business with MBKC again. Service department there is great though, prompt, friendly and efficient. More

Anything and everything is an “outside influence” I had water in my C63 AMGs headlight and they put desiccant bags in them and resealed them. They didn’t replace them, like any normal luxury dealer would do. If you want shoddy work on your 80K dollar Benz come here. You’ll love it. More

The purchase of my vehicle was not handled correctly, causing me to make 2 trips back to pickup paper work they had completed incorrectly. When scheduling appointments, they seldom can get you in the same week, unless you work around their schedule. The employees tend to be rushed and not friendly. Their is a lot of turnover in service techs. when you talk with receptionist , it always seems that you are put into someone's voice mail. Getting a returned call can take more than a day. Lastly no one seems very friendly or happy at this dealership, making for a generally experience overall. This dealer wants to sell you a car , period. I can say that my sales person Randy Bloom was excellent. More

But what I'm about to describe was far from professional, polite, courteous, helpful, understanding or any concern shown for my well-being. • I was then approached by Johnny Kartsonis at approximately 12:15, after already being told by someone else that they would get someone to help me. He was Super unpleasant, very confrontational with this initial question (the first words out of his mouth were - "Is there something I can help you with, were closed?", Not hi how are you, are you being helped, are you having a good Saturday…….. Nothing warm or welcoming or even polite. • Because of the rudeness, I responded, no I'm being taken care of already (assuming the porter guy was working directly with a tech on my minor issue). • Johnny then responded - "Well what is it your needing?"…… not, Oh I can help you, Or hello my name is ………….., let me see if I can help you…… No he was just plain rude. • I then re-explained my scenario. He boldly said, Well we're not going to be able to help you, we close at noon. You should have gotten here sooner. We have lives. I have to pick up my Mother……. And on and on and on. • Finally I interrupted him and said, listen, I had these tires installed here on Wednesday, and I want someone to look at it and make it right. (A little direct, but I am the customer and I am a customer now dealing with a confrontational, chip on his shoulder, unkind, less than polite, etc.) • I said, be reasonable, put yourself in my shoes, I'm the customer, you guys just performed the work on Wednesday. You're not going to make it right? • He then said, I can do it on Monday morning, but I have my mother to pick up. In the end, such a horrible customer service experience. That BOY is in need of some service training on how to deal with customers. More

The place is immaculate and most of the staff made you feel at home......but that is the expectation of a MB dealership and they met the expectation hands down. However the story does not end there......it is where they exceeded my expectations that I was most floored. I had an issue with my trade that I chose to disclose because it was the right thing to do and after discussing the details with the appropriate parties, they left their offer in place. I dealt primarily with Randy; Ralph; Steve; and Melinda. The entire experience was well worth the effort to get there. More
