CALLED ON A TUES. FOR APPT. ...TOLD IF I WAIT TILL FRI. I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET A LOANER...ON FRIDAY, NO LOANER... BUT GOT A ENTERPRISE CAR..(EXTREMELY FILTHY)BROUGHT IT BACK TO BE CHANGED.....MERCEDES WAS BR WOULD BE ABLE TO GET A LOANER...ON FRIDAY, NO LOANER... A mostt unsatisfactory service experience. Car in at 9 am. Promised by 3pm. Not done until 3:45. No one seemed to no what was going on. Required to get in line to get in another line. We began receiving the "replace battery in key" message shortly after purchasing our new E350, and we replaced the batteries in both keys within a month of purchase. When the message reappeared ea message shortly after purchasing our new E350, and we replaced the batteries in both keys within a month of purchase. When the message reappeared earlier this year we became concerned, and mentioned it to our service advisor, Frank Wilson. Frank swapped the batteries again, and asked that I keep an eye on the keys. One month later it happened again, and Frank advised swapping the keys. He informed me that the keys were found to be malfunctioning. When I picked up the car, only one key had arrived. I told him I could return to Annapolis to pick up the other one when it came in, but he offered to have one of the drivers bring it by my house. Unfortunately, the day that the key arrived at the dealership the drivers were already booked solid. I again offered to drive down to the dealership to pick up the key, but was told that someone would take care of it for me. The next thing I heard was that the acting Parts Manager, Richard Hamilton, would bring the key to me after work that evening. As promised, he showed up at 6:30, having braved a real downpour en route, and handed me my key. He also stuck with me until we confirmed that the key was functioning properly (but that is another story). I must say that I was quite impressed by this gentleman, who was willing to "go the extra mile" (or, in my case, the extra 22 miles) to make sure that my problem was resolved. More
This was the MOST simple and enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had (I have bought 7 cars, 2 new). My wife and I had been searching for a SUV that was loaded with features and found a late experience I have ever had (I have bought 7 cars, 2 new). My wife and I had been searching for a SUV that was loaded with features and found a late model Mountaineer with EVERYTHING at Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis through online searches. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Wayne Discus who made us feel very welcome and made every effort to ensure that my wife was comfortable with our 5 month old daughter in the very nice lobby area. I gave him the information for our trade and went on a test drive of the Mountaineer. He went out of his way to help me to test all the gadgets (DVD, Power Running Boards, Nav, Power Folding Seats). After the drive, the appraisal of our trade was done quickly and it was a decent proposal, not the best we had received but not the worst. The car we were interested in was priced very competitively with others of the same year and mileage but had the most features of any other that we had found. The negotiation went very smoothly and after it was completed they directed us to a nice little restaurant close by and paid for our dinner while the paperwork was being completed. There were no changes or surprises when we returned and I would like to offer a special thanks to Michele Mitchell who made that process a breeze. Wayne and Michele totally made our day and have changed my opinion about car dealerships. Mercedes of Annapolis is an honest dealer who treated us like we were there to buy a brand new Mercedes, even though we were getting a used Mercury! We visited a few other dealers about similar cars before we made the trip to Annapolis, and I'm so grateful that it didn't work out at any other place. I would completely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Mercedes or any used car that they have in stock, and I hope that they would get Wayne as their salesman! Thank you Wayne!
