Since the previous sales person was not available I had been assigned to Barry Martin. He was very knowledgeable, professional and has a really great personality. He made what could have been a daunting experience a very easy and pleasant one. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Ray Catena to anyone interested in leasing or purchasing a MBenz. However, I started receiving emails from a different Sales/Leasing Representative named Gary Wilson. He was the utmost professional, efficient, and personable as well. I decided to reach out to him when I was in a market for a new vehicle. I am so glad that I did! Gary made my recent purchase experience one of the BEST ever in my life. He made the process very simple, transparent, pleasant, and most importantly he knew what I wanted before I even asked. Of course I did my research but Gary demonstrated his expertise without trying to do the typical "sales" pitch to me. He demonstrated ALL of the qualities someone in sales should possess: patience, knowledge of the brand, attentiveness, goal-oriented, professionalism, tenacity, responsiveness, and the list goes on and on. I did not feel the need to shop around – I knew I wanted to do business with him because he made sure I got all of my must-haves. Horrible Experience: Lack of Transparency Tom Cola was not truthful and honest. This is my second purchase with Tom and I felt like he betrayed that trust and was not transparent. I did a lease renewal which included excess mileage on my current lease. It took less than an hour to complete the deal, however it took over 3+ hours to get the paper work done. I did not get an odometer disclosure statement, because he said "trust me I got you covered". I received a letter for MBFS billing me for excess mileage and when I followed up with Tom, he said we never had that conversation ...... WOW! It could have been a misunderstanding, but how Tom handled the issue was disappointing. My advice, when you hear trust me with a smile .... ask questions, seek the clarity you need. More
