For this purchase we had the pleasure of working with Allyson Gutman... Allyson is far more then a salesperson... She listens to our needs and caterers to our wants in providing an automobile that meets and at times exceeds our expectations. Her knowledge of each vehicle is beyond that of the norm and her attention to detail is impeccable. As for the price Allyson works very well as if it was her purchasing the vehicle for herslef and her family. When is comes to the paperwork which is never an easy task Allyson is a pleasure to work with and when it comes to follow up after the car was purchased Allyson treats you with a sense of care and attention that is second to none. Overall I speak for myself and my wife that we have a relationship with the Ray Catena team that will be a part of our family in purchasing and servicing our cars for quiet some time. More

We were greeted as we entered the show room, asked if we needed anything (water, refreshments, etc.) Salesman John LaViola Jr. was called to assist us. John showed me the model I was interested in and answered all my questions. We went for a test drive in a CLA250. Along the way, John pointed out many of the features the car offered. After testing an Audi A4 at another dealer, I returned and leased a new CLA250. A car was located that had all of the options I was looking for and was delivered in a few days. When picking up the car, Abel was very helpful in demonstrating the navigation system and other options I had selected. What was really great was this was accomplished indoors on a very cold day. Great facility for purchasing a car. Abel and I then drove to the service center and showed me the facility. Upon returning, John and I completed all the necessary paperwork and I drove home. A very pleasant experience. More
We had a great experience at Ray Catena Edison, thanks especially to Allyson. She was very knowledgeable about the product, especially in comparison to competitive vehicles, and was able to provide the f especially to Allyson. She was very knowledgeable about the product, especially in comparison to competitive vehicles, and was able to provide the full range of financing options allowing us to decide on how we would purchase the vehicle. Within 20 minutes of deciding to get the truck, we had gone through a variety of scenarios, negotiated the price (including options and accessories). The whole process - walking in to walking out with keys in hand - took only 3 hours!! We also had the chance to meet the service department, which was very helpful. We got a 2014 GL550 which is a great car for a family of 5 (and for a sports-car loving father). Special thanks to Leigh for the Mercedes bears for the kids ... they also have their own seats in the car now! We will definitely recommend Allyson, Leigh and Ray Catena Edison to all of our family and friends (in fact, I already have). Thanks again! More

I emailed few dealers with my options requirement for CLA I emailed few dealers with my options requirement for CLA which I wanted to purchase. John Farrell was the first to reply back to me. " we are very professional and I want to earn your business ". He immediately emailed me quote with by budget. John mention that he didn't had the particular CLA available in stock but he found the one with my options and it will take 5 days to have it. I reserved this car by placing deposit of $500 on credit card. Within two days John emailed me to mention that they had my car at the dealership. I replied to him that I won't be able to pick my car since I am 90 minutes away from Edison. He immediately agreed to deliver CLA in MT Laurel at my doorstep. John and Matt showed up at my house that afternoon and singing documents took 10 minutes. John Farrell and Steve Chanis ( Manager ) are truly professional. They made whole experience as easy as possible without me stepping into the dealership.Thank you John and Steve for making my car buying experience with Ray Catena unforgettable. More
I previously dealt with Open Road Mercedes in Bridgewater NJ ... I switched to Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Edison because I followed Allyson Gutman my sales associate from Open Road to Ray Catena in Edison NJ ... I switched to Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Edison because I followed Allyson Gutman my sales associate from Open Road to Ray Catena in Edison ...I could not bring myself to go back to Open Road if Allyson Gutman was not there ... Allyson Gutman is the BEST anyone can ask for ... she is great to deal with ..treats you like family and makes you feel at home .. she is extremely knowledgeable and answers all the questions you have ... lets face it buying/leasing a Mercedes is a big deal and is costly and sometimes you get a little nervous ... this does not happen with Allyson .. she takes you through it smoothly without any pressure and before you know it she is handing you the keys to your new car!! ... Thank you Allyson!! All of the other staff members at Ray Catena Mercedes Benz in Edison treated me well and I am so happy that I am now dealing with them. More
My key issue here is the service center's unfriendly and rude behavior. My car buy experience was very good but my experience with the service center has been extremely unpleasant. To start with, I call and rude behavior. My car buy experience was very good but my experience with the service center has been extremely unpleasant. To start with, I call the service center and a feminine voice from someone named Douglas answers the phone. This guy/gal has no business being on the phone and talking in a robotic manner which is very insulting. He cuts me off abruptly while I am talking. He transfers the call abruptly while I am talking with no regards to the person on the other line. How can this guy keep his job despite being so horrible and hopeless is beyond me. Next the service advisers and only slightly better. The way they talk with a customer makes you feel as if they are doing you a huge favor. On every occasion I call them, the call gets transferred to their VM. When I leave them a VM asking them to call me back, the call is never returned. My local Nissan dealer's service center is 100 times better than Ray Catena Mercedes. At least they treat me as a human being. Otherwise I have no complaints about the service work on the car being done here. But treatment is equally important which is hopelessly lacking. More
