I like to look poor and oblivious because I enjoy watching how people treat other people based on appearance just to get a laugh inside. Originally, I had my eyes on two kinds of vehicles - an Audi and a Mercedes. I went to an Audi dealership first, but the customer service was terrible. I left after 30 minutes of walking around without being welcomed – I even walked past the reception area only to get a smile from the receptionist while she was texting and several of the staff just walking passed me. When I got to Grapevine Mercedes, within 10 minutes of walking the lot, Jonathan Kowalsky came to introduce himself and left my wife and I alone to browse some more. He later returned and we test drove a car and loved it. We went into the building and crunch some numbers – by the way, Jonathan was really easy-going, intelligent about the product, and was very genuine about getting us the best deal that would work for us. Next, after Jonathan got us the deal, we were off to finance to seal the deal. I usually dread this part about buying a car. However, this was the smoothest transaction I have ever experienced when buying a car. The finance guy, I wish I remembered his name, was very relaxed. He explained to us what they had to offer and me having bought cars in the past, I said, “Look, this is all we want blah, blah, blah” and he said “You got it”. No sales gimmick, no sales pressure tactics – just straight to the point. Off to my house with a new car: I had a trade-in, but I did not have it with me that day. So, Jonathan and another gentleman followed me home that same day and picked up the car. I have never heard of any dealership doing this. They usually tell you to bring it in the next business day. All in all, the Grapevine Benz Crew is definitely a FRONTRUNNER IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you for getting us in a great car and making our car buying experience pleasant. SECOND-TO-NONE! More
