Salute to Charles Scrymgeour, Zine Bentoujda and Gary Fine I just leased my 10th Mercedes vehicle from MB of Natick and the reason I keep coming back is because of the very high caliber of the professionals wh I just leased my 10th Mercedes vehicle from MB of Natick and the reason I keep coming back is because of the very high caliber of the professionals who work there. This is not a high-pressure sales environment, get the sale done and see you later, the employees at MB of Natick really see their job as building a long-term relationship with their customers and they are ideally suited to working with their clientele becasue many of them are former customers themselves. Charles Scrymgeour has been my agent for many years, and he is truly my agent. He is invariably professional, listens carefully to my questions and gives me direct and clear answers, and regularly checks in with me long after the purchase--in sum, he is is always there when I need him. I would also like to salute Zine Bentoujda and Gary Fine. Zine has been the finance manager on about 5 of my new cars and he always presents the finance options in a clear way, explaining what he sees as the pros and cons of various options, in a way that makes the information accessible for someone who does not deal with these issues everyday. Whenever I am in for service, he makes a point of reaching out and sincerely engaging with me on how things are going. In fact, on this new purchase he was instrumental in getting me to see the benefits of my new car. Last, salute to Gary Fine. I met him for this first time last week and he too is the consumate professional. Polite, firendly but low key, knowledgeable, and truly helpful. He patiently and effectively took me thru each function of my new car in a way that was both enjoyable and effective-I drove away feeling that I totally understood each important function of the car. Treated like royalty! After much online research, I had decided to purchase a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. I'd had very good experiences previously from Herb Chambers' dealers After much online research, I had decided to purchase a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. I'd had very good experiences previously from Herb Chambers' dealerships, so without hesitation I contacted Mercedes Benz of Natick. On my first visit there, I was greeted by Charles Scrymgeour, an avowed AMG enthusiast. Charles is a true gentleman, and takes great pride in the performance credentials of AMG. Charles went the extra mile to have me test drive various models to make sure I was fit to the right vehicle. When I made my decision, there was no pressure to 'seal the deal'. I went home to sleep on it, and the next day made my decision. Charles found the exact car I was looking for, and had it brought to M-B Natick that day. What happened next was a complete surprise. Their new car detailer found a small flaw in the paint finish that had occurred during shipping from Europe. Charles and his manager, Cong Truong, advised me that they would not release a flawed vehicle to me, and found an identical replacement immediately and got it to me the very next morning. The replacement car even had a few extra options that they did not charge me for due to the problem with the first car! When the new car arrived, their detailer went over it with a fine tooth comb to ensure its perfection, and only then released it to me. Upon delivery, Charles spent over an hour with me going over all the features and operations, including detailed recommendations for break-in. I drove off a very happy man, and by the time I got home I was madly in love with the car. A few words about doing business with M-B Natick (and Herb Chamber's in general): you will get full value for your trade-in. Many dealers will offer you a discount on the new car, but then make it back by lowballing your trade. Not these guys. I asked for, and received, the full and fair value of my trade per industry guidelines, in addition to a very compelling discount on the new car. I came away spending much less than I had budgeted for. As for Charles, I could tell that he was truly delighted to welcome a new member to the Mercedes-AMG family. At no point in the process did I feel that he was trying to maximize his commission or upsell me. I was treated like royalty during the entire process. More
