Issue Never Eradicated Took my vehicle in for a noise that was coming from the front wheelhouse. The first diagnostic I pod and was directed to replace the propeller shaft ( Took my vehicle in for a noise that was coming from the front wheelhouse. The first diagnostic I pod and was directed to replace the propeller shaft (u-joint axle shaft). After having replaced, the noise was still there and I took vehicle back in for inspection where it was purportedly concluded that it was the CV axle instead that needed to be replaced. However, I have already performed service on the identical part less than a year prior so parr’s and labor were covered for its replacement. 2.5 weeks later my car is ready for pickup (of which one day it was kept extra so that a technician can verify that the noise was gone) only to find that the vehicle STILL makes the noise I brought it in for a month ago. After all this time the issue is still there. I spent money replacing a propeller shaft that didn’t need immediate replacement and have lost so much time with all of these back and forths. Very disappointed and can not recommend dealership to anyone. More
