My experience with Scott and Merchants Auto started when I spoke with him online using their instant messaging tool. We set up an appointment and I agreed to process the on-line credit application. At the time of the appointment, we were welcomed at the door and ushered to Scott's office. He was not pushy at all during the initial phase of our discussion, and agreed to get two of the vehicles we talked about and let us test drive them. We were allowed plenty of time to look them over and poke them, and the test drive was illuminating. We ended up taking home a car that afternoon, and every step of the way, Scott had the next thing ready to go and explain. There is, of course, a lot of paperwork, but Scott made it quick and easy. Truly, working with a professional who knows his business is a rewarding experience. More

Steve is a remarkable Finance Manager as he worked some magic and got us an unbelievable deal for our financing. He made us feel worthwhile and that we were only human so it was okay to have a couple bruises on our credit. I've bought two vehicles from Mark Chartrand since June of this year. The first was for my parents. My mother accompanied me, and Mark was gracious to us both. He even followed us back to my parents' home, driving the purchased car as my mother and I rode ahead of him, in my Jeep; my mother hadn't driven in several months and was hesitant to do so in a vehicle new to her. That was a 35-minute drive both ways. We chatted extensively on the way back. He's an interesting person and a straight shooter and worked to help get me into that car; my credit was not that great, at the time. When I returned, in late October, to purchase a vehicle for myself, he was again very helpful and got me into the nicest, newest car I've ever owned. I can trust Mark. In a short period of time, he's given me two fair deals on excellent late-model vehicles. Later, I brought this second vehicle to the dealership in order to correct an issue with the tires. They balanced and rotated them at no charge, even though I had exceeded the standard 1,000-mile dealership warranty on the vehicle. These guys run a tight shop. I'm very impressed, and though I don't expect to purchase another vehicle for several years, I recommend Mark and Merchants Auto without reservation. Buy a car there! More

I went to Merchants Auto based mostly on the radio ads, my credit is far from perfect so I decided to give it a try, very glad I did. Great personality, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. He understood my needs and concerns and obviously went above and beyond to make certain that I walked away completely satisfied with the car I ended up driving home. I'm half a century old and I've had my fair share of dealings with car dealers and sales people alike over the years, that being said I can honestly say that my car buying experience at Merchants Auto was like the "Red Sox" winning the World Series at Fenway Park for the first time in 95 years!
